I'm a native San Franciscan who just got back from spending five years or so in NYC.

I really love this city and its people, and there's a lot more exploring that needs to be done.

Working hard as an attorney, and trying to get more involved in the community.

-Listening and helping people solve problems and reach agreements.
-Big picture thinking. I'm decidedly not detail-oriented.
-Staying on top of trends.
-Most sports
-Spending more than my means.

I'm pretty tall and usually smiling and laughing.

Books: classics such as Falkner, Sartre, Proust, Steinbeck, Hemmingway.

Movies: really eclectic taste here. Everything from Summer blockbusters to Wes Anderson.

Shows: watching now -- mad men, homeland, game of thrones, breaking bad, girls.

Music: kid cudi, kanye west, calvin harris, air, whitest boy alive, daft punk, serge gainsbourg, justice, madeon, little dragon, santigold, paloma faith, amy winehouse, black keys, mark ronson, tennis, yelle, mike snow, tom waits, the clash, the beatles, ramones, fugees and lauryn hill, aphex twin, parliament, is tropical, french horn rebellion, new navy, and pretty much any of the maison kitsune soundtracks and the mixes from le bain's nouveau york parties.

Food: I like pretty much everything except for greek yogurt or sour fro yo (just tastes off to me); uni (i've had it a million ways but it just doesn't do it for me); tilapia, catfish or any other bottom feeding fish; when they put peanuts, celery or big chunks of bell pepper or carrots or onions in chinese food; pizza w/o tomato sauce; american cheese.

The ocean. Even though I don't like the sand, I love being near an ocean.

Coffee.

NY Times. I read it constantly.

Suits. I usually wear jeans, but a well-tailored suit is a must-have.

Running shoes. I can be a couch potato at times but usually am active.

Dinner. I'm not the biggest fan of breakfasts. I usually eat something small and get on with my day. But nice dinners with good conversation is something that I grew up with and is important to me.

Current events, the law, opening up my own business and other business ventures, figuring out ways to enjoy life to the fullest. I try not to be jealous, but when I see my friends' statuses and photos on fbook doing amazing things, I wish at times that I wasn't going through the pain and conventions of being a lawyer.

Generally pretty wiped out by Friday so something more low key.

I like fashion to a certain degree and think that it plays a role in our identity and how we view ourselves.

Speaking in generalizations, I tend to get along better with extroverts and people who are fun to be around. I tend to prefer wit and playfulness over goofiness, and really value intelligence (though half the really smart people I meet are too boring for their own good). Major plus if you speak French and/or are tall. Here's to meeting some great people.
