My Self-Summary

Aaallll right, the cliff's notes. Chapter one: I'm a city girl who likes to get out and having fun all over downtown and beyond. Bouncing around town and checking out the nightlife is pretty much my thing. Trying new stuff is always enjoyable and there seems to be an decent supply of activities to investigate around here. Lately, my favorites are trivia, live music/concerts, burlesque shows, hunting happy hours, watching sports, costume parties, festivals and most of all getting food and drinks and hanging with friends.

What I’m doing with my life

evolving. how existential of me, right? It's been a great string of experiences and i'm enjoying the journey. I'm fortunate enough to have a great core group of friends that i enjoy spending time and trading tales with. Professionally, I'm a nerd. I pay the bills by designing and developing websites which I must admit is the perfect fit. I love it. I want to spoon it.

My longest running past time has been drawing. My pieces almost exclusively consist of the human form subjects in high contrast lighting.

I'm working on catching up on movies I should have seen years ago. Movie nights are growing on me. I highly look forward to taking in shows at Screenland(downtown). I highly recommend this venue.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Favorites are a challenge, but i'll give 'er a go. I don't read for pleasure too often, i tend to stick to the nerd tech books, but when I do I enjoy authors Agatha Christie, George Orwell, and lately David Sadaris. My musical likes are all over but mostly surrounds around alternative, trip-hop and electronic.. minus rap and country. Jaws is my fave movie.. do with that info what you will. And finally, I don't believe in food, it's a terrible addiction...

The six things I could never do without

phone, ipod, eyeliner, IM, ohhh two more... ok, things further in proximity, treadmill, and auto-therapy.

everything. it's true. it's exhausting. i need a nap just thinking about thinking about things. g'night.

Out the door by 7. Where the night leads... blank canvas. that's 'shake off the work week' time.
