My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
You know what? I like that: "I'm an empty essay". It's not strictly true (in many ways that essay is already written), but I'm not sure I really found myself yet.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm studying Computer Science at the Latvian University [because pure math is for geeks ;) ]. But mostly I'm just doing random stuff.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
writing stupid stuff, I suppose. It's the smart stuff that usually stumps me.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
They refuse to tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Speculative Fiction and the occasional historical book. I've enjoyed the Vorkosigan Saga a lot recently, and The Foundation series before that.
Movies: Hard to say, mostly I watch serial stuff.
Series, then: Adventure Time, Archer, Better off Ted, Big Bang Theory, Castle, Firefly, Game of Thrones, House, Modern Family, Sherlock, The Guild, Venture Bros, Wilfred, and probably something else I forgot.
Music: anything and everything (in small doses).
Podcasts: Geeknights and Dan Carlin's Hardcore History mostly, Though I also enjoy Ecape Pod.
Food: The simple stuff- a well cooked steak, a well boiled potato, a well salted fish.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
a friend, a piece of paper and pencil, a computer, SLEEP (don't get fooled by the cheap caffeine ripoffs), a head (or at least some other round object to substitute), another computer to run a LAN.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
alternate realities.
yes it scares me too. what scares me even most is I can't quite fix my ideas on paper.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Curling up with a good book or movie. I suppose that means I have no life...
But I like being immortal :-)
