I'm a little bit of an Odysseus - intellectual astronaut. Well traveled in the fields of Science (theoretical physics) and Technology (Software, Algorithms, Machine Learning, Data Science) but heart belongs to the Arts (play guitar, very interested/practiced in Fine Art). My journey has certainly had its share of Wonders and of encounters with Monsters.

I am only second generation and have retained a great deal of European attitudes and culture. I guess I was "predestined" to clash with harsh Calvinist/Puritan America coming from a Catholic upbringing (European aesthetics/assumptions/lifestyle are certainly different than here.)

I am ~highly~ curious and spend a good amount of my time reading and absorbing new ideas. I love adventures - especially travel and have seen most of Western Europe and would love to start exploring the East and North - as well as the rest of the world!

My mother and I have an excellent relationship.

I have gone from a training in Theoretical Physics to work in software and technology. I am transitioning back to more mathematically intense work combining what I know in tech with a deep interest in mathematics.

I spend four years as a full time real estate entrepreneur (and am very proud of some of the houses I remodeled) but had to return to work after the Crash. I am very interested in investing and financial independence (and continue to work with a partner attempting to execute various business ideas).

I have recently began playing guitar again and want to continue to improve and evolve. I also love activities pertaining to the Visual Arts.

Musically, I'm a Pearl Jam, Stan Getz, Johnny Cash, Bach Partita kind of guy.

Food - Ethiopian, Japanese, Italian, Greek, French, Thai - of course the best deserts are Austrian (slightly biased here).

Books - My reading is so often professional or non-fiction these days - let's see The Big Con was interesting (about con-artists of early last century) - Outliers (about forces that influence where we end up in life) - basically everything and anything - A book about Antonin Artaud (a french cinematic theorist who went insane). 'The Predictioneers' - a book about political game theory. Philosophy, History ....
