My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I used to be a dead ringer for Joni Mitchell, but now I think I look more like John Lennon with my specs on. (You decide.) I'm fun loving individual whose apex in life is laughter particularly the silliness that ensues when family, friends and of course, couples (!) get together. And this is all a good thing as it saves me from my deep thinking (I ponder the imponderables and daily sweat over tech-obsessed millenials, climate change and the Koch brothers.) Good conversation is about as good as it gets to me ("for the great relief of having you to talk to") right up there with great kissing!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've lately turned in my writing pen for a suitcase full of jewelry…that I don't own :(

As a rep for the most versatile and unique body accessories, I have taken to interacting with the world instead of my computer. And it's a lot more fun. My motto should be, "What a brave new world it is that has such people in it!" (paraphrased and plagiarized) It's amazing how much more fascinating life is when you leave your house everyday. And why did I start writing…?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
At making people feel comfortable. My curiosity runs deep and I get great joy out of learning about someone new (about anything!) which makes me a great listener. And talker (let's be honest here). As I said before, great conversation spiced with lots of laughter, is what life is all about!
The first things people usually notice about me

MOVIES: This will shock you but it really is the most gorgeous film--"The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" (favorite film, right up there with "The Pianist" and "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World... "Days of Wine and Roses." Anything by Billy Wilder...I love 'em dark, I love 'em goofy, I love the movies!

BOOKS: Girl classics: The Brontes, Jane Austin, Edith Warton--the best! Tom Wolfe, David Sedaris, Nora Ephron, Michael Chabon; spiritual books: Joseph Goldstein's "A Path with Heart," "The Nag Hammadi," & "The Gnostic Gospels" Elaine Pagels, Stephen Levine, Rumi...

The great sixties stuff: Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Dylan, THE BEATLES! Leonard Cohan, Van Morrison, all of them!; Slow and sexy Jazz; Enya (yes, Enya!); Moby, Dead Can Dance, Lisa Gerard...The Cure (!) and movie soundtracts: "Jesse James," "Thin Red Line"--pure poetry! "House of Sand and Fog"--anything by Hans Zimmer...& Classical, of course. Beethoven! Cello music...YoYo Ma.

FOOD: I'm not a foodie but after years of watching Top Chef, I wish I were!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Only if you have a photograph and live near me.

You are kind and loyal and a conversational liberal who thinks laughter and kissing are right up there!

(Contrarily, if you're a big hiker/sportsman, better pass on by as I broke my hip a few years back and it has put me outta the game!)

Bonus points if:
- you love your family and stand not too many inches above me.
- you're close to me in age, preferably 2 to 4 years older.
- you "believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days…" : )
