Moved to Germany (my motherland) about 6 months ago and moved to Cologne about 3 months ago and really love it! :) Speak a few languages. I'm half German, half Israeli. Having grown up in New York City, I consider myself very liberal - socially and politically. I speak German, Spanish and Hebrew. Would love to learn French and Italian.

I aspire to write. Lyrics. Comedy. Non-fiction historical screenplays. Kinda random, I know, though I don't write as much as I should.

I love to travel and my "unlikely" background makes me appreciate other cultures, customs and countries. That's what made me move down to Buenos Aires for a year and a half in 2009. It's also what made me backpack across Europe for half of 2006. Have also lived in London, Boston and San Francisco. Would really like to explore Asia (Japan, Thailand, Korea in particular)

Been teaching ESL (English) for the past 5-6 years and really enjoy it. Apparently, I'm the "cool" teacher. hahaha, nice! My students seem to enjoy the fact that I'll play Johnny Cash's "A Boy Named Sue" in class.

Actually, I've been on a few dates through this and I've been told I look better in person. So, yea... I guess I'm not really photogenic. Or I need to find "my angle" haha

Books: Siddhartha, Anything Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk or Hunter S. I Dig the beatnik writers too for the most part.

Movies: Waking Life, The Life Aquatic (anything from Wes Anderson basically), Exit Through the Gift Shop, Fight Club, The Cruise, Goodbye Lenin, Midnight Cowboy, Secretary, Midnight in Paris (most Woody Allen), all the Back to the Futures, Inglorious Basterds (duh, Quentin Tarantino too), and can also appreciate a good indie/foreign film as well. :)

TV: Modern Family, Colbert Report, Seinfeld, Curb, Arrested Development, The Simpsons, SportsCenter, Tosh.0, Family Guy, Big Bang Theory, random documentaries (particularly nature and history and the occasional "conspiracy theory" doc too).

Music: Manu Chao, Jacques Brel, Beastie Boys, Lykke Li, Johnny Cash, Calle 13, The Whitest Boy Alive, Biggie, , Woodie & Arlo Guthrie (but Woodie more), Dylan, Los de Abajo, The Naive New Beaters, Sublime, Jurassic 5, Narcolina, Cap'n Geech and the Shrimp Shack Shooters. Living in Germany for the past few months has opened me up to some more electronic music, though it's not my "numero uno". :)

Food: I've cut down on red meat lately, but I love me a good turkey burger! and avocados! YUM! German bread is AMAZING! (oh wait, I'm "American", I'm supposed to say "awesome". German bread is AWESOMMMME!!!)

I don't really know how to answer this. I don't really have an addictive personality and can deal with change pretty well. Actually, you might say that's something I can't live without: change.

Depends on my mood.... buddy's house or the bar. a concert once in a while and occasionally dancing, but I'm def more of a "chill" kinda guy. I'd rather have a few beers or a glass of wine with a small group of people.
