At times a bit too shy, at others possibly a little too confident.
I simply love exploring, discovering, learning and doing. Really
doesn't matter what it is, I'm happy to try anything at least once.
The crazier the idea, the happier I'm likely to be.
What I’m doing with my life
Running a company, listening to music, Taekwondo, learning Latin
dance, studying languages, playing guitar badly.
I’m really good at
I'm variously good at riding motorbikes, kicking really high
things, being the suitable butt of jokes, listening, drinking
scotch, losing people in the middle of a conversation, irony and
deploying self-depreciating wit. And learning things, I'm pretty
good at that.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, lack of hair and the blue eyes. Not necessarily in that
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a sucker for a good book; though I don't have nearly enough
time to read everything I'd like to these days, my reading list
currently has selected works of Hitchens, Sam Harris, Janny Wurts,
Donald Norman, Neal Stephenson, Iain M. Banks, Peter Hamilton and
I can not function without some kind of music playing, mostly
progressive rock/metal with splashes of ambient, chill, acuoustic
guitar, jazz, fusion, alternative and heavy metal. If you have ever
heard of Mariliion, Ayreon, Riverside or Beardfish, I will have
your babies on the spot.
The six things I could never do without
Something to read
A new adventure
I spend a lot of time thinking about
For work: Business empires. UX and human centred design.
For fun: Atheism, ethics, religion, science, technology, language,
motorbikes, where to travel to next.
On a typical Friday night I am
up for just about anything. You'll frequently find me out with
friends enjoying food, drink and company. You may also find me
dancing the night away at a latin party.
You should message me if
you feel like it? Weren't bored by the above?
Or if you have a crazy suggestion that may result in fun and profit
