Not looking to date, but looking for enthusiastic and entertaining climbing, hiking, and activity partners.

Sarcasm a plus.

Planning on using 2013 to more of the things I love: climbing and hiking in new places, attending concerts, limiting the time I goof off on the web (reddit, flipboard, etc).

Really good at: Making Thai food, desserts (Chocolate Soufflé, Crème brûlée, Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies, Naughty Shortbread cookies, etc), woodworking and cabinetmaking.

Feels slightly odd putting something so obvious out there, but I lost all my hair in October 2012 due to Alopecia universalis. Eyebrows, eyelashes and everything else you can imagine is gone and still a little self conscious about it.

Focusing on the positives: I'm extremely soft (climbing hands excepted), I no longer have to clean the shower drain or spend time shaving

Food favorites:
Mediterranean, Persian, Indian, Burmese, Thai, and anything with very hot peppers and no goopy cheese (i.e. Mexican isn't a favorite)

Books:
- Biographies and books on world history
- Classic Science Fiction from the 50s and 60s.
- Books on how to make things
Favorite Authors: Cormac McCarthy, John Keegan, Max Hastings

Music:
Mostly psychedelia, stoner metal, space, and indie. I frequently listen to KFJC and am very passionate about music and seeing live music.

Current favorite bands: Wooden Shjips (that's not a misspelling); He's My Brother, She's My Sister; Strange Vine; Baby Grandmothers.

Old favorites: Modest Mouse, MC5, Velvet Underground, Portis Head, Hendricks, Hüsker Dü, X.

I work as an engineer at a fun company and spend much of my time thinking about how to do the best job I can do and help my coworkers.

Outside of work, I'm often thinking about how best to design my current wood working projects, what to serve for the next dinner party and how I'm going to work towards a 5.12a climb (top rope in a gym - baby steps...) in 2013.
