Hello!

My primary interests include food, technology, and humor (stand-up comedy, "that's what she said" jokes, etc etc.) I was born, raised, and educated in Michigan. I've lived in Manhattan for 2.5 years now and plan on being in New York for a long time.

I consider myself:
-Fun, but serious when I have to be
-Lazy on the weekends, but ambitious on the weekdays
-A very considerate, kind person, but I won't hesitate to let someone know when I think they're being stupid
-Humble, but confident
-Intelligent, but with a healthy dose of stupid

Work-wise: I work in the online advertising industry as a Solutions Consultant at a great company whose search engine you've probably used today. I've been there for over a year now and it's a job that doesn't stop giving. I don't plan on leaving it anytime soon.

Personal: I just moved into my own apartment in the East Village and am looking forward to being a real live grownup.

I've been told I have lovely green eyes. It's okay if you disagree, it's just what I've been told more than a few times in my life.

Movies: Love the mob flicks (Goodfellas, Casino, Departed). I think they have every key element a good movie should have: drama, violence, comedy, maybe even a little romance... overall they're just believable movies with good acting. I'm also always down for a good comedy.

Shows: The Office

Music: I can get into anything (except country) but I'm mostly a 90s hip-hop fan. I will always have Nas, Biggie, Jay-z, etc. on my most current playlist.

Food: Don't get me started. I eat anything and everything, as long as it's good!

Books: When I have time to read I want the material to be practical information (like the news, a periodical of some type, "how to" book) as opposed to fiction. That's just my personality.
