I would describe myself as being an easygoing girl who likes to have fun. I grew up in Colorado and recently moved to Chicago. My favorite things to spend my paychecks on are vacations. I have the urge to travel everywhere, and make it to as many places as possible. I love to cook, read, celebrate, watch movies, hike, snowboard, play tennis, and hang out with friends and family. I love game nights, dinner parties, or going out to get a few (sometimes more!) drinks. Other hobbies: I do fantasy football with some friends and I started a book club that meets at a bar every week.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books- Anything by Malcolm Gladwell, Haruki Murakami, John Irving, Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, Johnothan Kozol, or Mark Haddon. I just read the Twilight series and understand why so many people love it. Flowers for Algernon and Farewell to Arms have been longtime favorites. Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell is a new favorite.

Movies- Wedding Crashers, The Full Monty, Knocked Up, 40 year old virgin, the Hangover, Dances with Wolves, Love Actually, Memento, The Sex and the City Movie, Fight Club, Frequency, The Holiday, Rain Man, and more.

Music- Well I am not very picky on music. I have been obsessed with Tom Petty for as long as I remember. I like listening to live music, whatever it is! I'm not too big on country.

Food- I like most types of food. Italian, American, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Mexican, but my favorite is probably sushi.
