My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm down to Earth, because, you know, gravity.
I work only as hard as I feel I must. (I thoroughly hate "work hard, play hard" that just seems screwed up.)
I'm not always comfortable, strangers freak me out - unless they have candy, then we're good.

Actual stuff about me:
- I use the Oxford comma.
- I write with 60 year old fountain pens.
- I prefer print to electronic. (But I own a Kindle and used to work in IT.)
- I own two hand wind pocket watches.
- I wish Vegas had more bike lanes and drivers didn't see the ones we do have as additional space for turning.
- I'm a dyed-in-the-wool introvert and hate talking on the phone.

That's enough for now, feel free to ask questions.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Grad school mostly, reading and typing, typing and reading. And not preparing for the zombie apocalypse. I just put a rack on my bike for trips to the store in order to cut out even more of my car usage.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
learning new things. Apparently, I'm a good listener as well.

I like a pretty wide assortment of music: classical, classic rock, 80s, punk, 90s grunge, progressive rock...

Books: I read all kinds of stuff, mostly sci-fi, classic literature, and fantasy. Favourites include: The Man in the High Castle, Fool, Frankenstein.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A comfy chair to read in
Time to read
Shelves for books
Tea to drink while I read
More books

You should probably own a couple books or we might not get along.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
what I want to do after I finish my Master's. The environment, the sad state of the US space program.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Staying in, taking it easy so I'm ready to go hiking in the morning.
