Howdy, Okcupid. My names Aaron, I'm interested primarily in meeting new friends. I dig crafting, music, volunteerism, cooking, current events, tinkering, politics, computers, and spending time with my friends and family. Not really in that order, and not a complete list. I'm about to enter an intership with Public Allies Indianapolis for a year, I'm yet to be placed in a position but I imagine I'll be feeding hungry babies or building houses for the homeless or something.

Currently, I'm head chef and kitchen manager of a Greek and Middle Eastern restaurant called Zorba's. I love cooking. But my passion is computer science, which I'm now studying. A couple friends and I run a small in home computer repair business in our spare time, which is about to be put on the back burner because I'll be working two jobs pretty soon.

I'm really good with computers, I'm a savvy net user. I'm a great conversationalist and friend. I'm pretty good at problem solving, puzzles, mechanics, and music. I play guitar and record things in my spare time at home. I love building and repairing things, if something I use is broken my very last resort is hiring someone to repair it, I'll modify, tinker, and duck tape my way to a solution simply for the satisfaction of doing it myself. I even find myself trying to modify things even if they're not broken. I've never owned a computer that I haven't built myself, but my tinkering isn't limited to technology... I like modifying furniture as well, for example I once cut up a Salvador Dali coffee table book and pasted the pictures on top of a chest and replaced the trim and tucked the photos underneath and glazed over the top of them. I also like playing with Photoshop, Illustrator, and editing movies. Currently my friends and I are working on a comedy we want to produce through YouTube and iTunes. I'm also way into crafting and craft blogs.

I love thrift shopping. Multiple times a week I'll leave for work early just to have enough time to try on a few things at the Goodwill between my house and work. I never buy anything new, so I have to frequent the thrift stores so I can find the newest and nicest looking things.
