My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, I'm Kevin!

I'm searching for that heart of gold.

Yes, my profile has a lot of information in it. It's worth it though! We are complex creatures. There is no ten word sentence to describe someone accurately... In my opinion of course!

"I self smarted myself, basically by... myself." -Ricky, Trailer Park Boys

I'm a goofy person. I like to wait too long to use my wipers in the rain because when I finally do, it's like everything is in HD! I still like to put chips on top of my sandwich and then eat it... because I'm an adult and I do what I want.

Everyone says I'm the exception to all the rules when it comes to being a "guy" or even a human for that matter. Which baffles me because it's not like I am working some vodo magic. I mean if you would have paid attention in grade school you might remember something called the "golden rule" sure it's corny, but guess what? It fucking works! I know, crazy right?! It's clearly some sort of rocket appliance shit.

My friends seem to view me as someone who always has his shit together. I just seem to hide the fact I don't know what I'm doing. So, whenever they get the chance to prove me wrong, they like to point it out. They are not rude about it - at all, they just take what they can get I guess. They find it funny.

I consider myself pretty well rounded, but I am introverted. That should not be mistaken for someone who doesn't have opinions. I have plenty of those and like to have friendly arguments about them. I'm just not very good at navigating large social situations.

I play video games and hangout with friends. Combining those two things is my favorite. It makes me happy and is something I will partake in the rest of my life.

I like other things besides video games and you can find me doing any of the following: Rock climbing, paintball, golfing, bowling, canoeing, watching roller derby, kung-fu movie nights, board games that have too many rules, eating at awesome places, hiking, attending philosophical discussion groups, murder mystery plays, normal plays, or concerts. And probably a few other things I can't think of right now. You know, stuff people do that they like.

Are you still reading this? Are you feeling OK? You should probably message me so we can talk about it... you know... for science?

"Words can never say what we want them to say, for they fumble, stammer, and break the best porcelain. The best one can hope for is to find along the way someone to share the path, content to walk in silence, for the heart communes best when it does not try to speak."

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I do IT work at a retirement community. It's pretty cool. The older folk have some great stories!

I also value my time. Which means, I don't live to work. I want to do my time and get out. I don't hate my job, just know that there is more to life. I like using my vacation time to enjoy my passions or visit new places and explore culture. I can't do that if I'm working 80/hr weeks!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Pretending to know what the hell is going on. Seriously, I have no idea what I'm doing. Ever.

I'm good at listening to everyone. Your input is important to me until proven otherwise.

Giving advice because I keep a level, practical head.

I am told that I am very methodical when I work. I try to be as efficient as possible, while still having fun of course!

I'm also really good at knowing and understanding rules to a lot of board games. I'm usually the go-to guy for final say on the rules.

Giving animals voices.

Quoting movies way out of context.

Knowing a little about a lot.

Acting quickly when shit hits the fan.

Watching a movie or playing a game with a friend(s). I enjoy a much more personal atmosphere with good friends. This is not to say I won't go out to events. I love concerts, movies, plays, shows, etc. You will rarely find me in a bar / club / whatever the social standard is, however.
