Greetings my fellow earthlings, ummm brave date seekers. Je m'appelle Stacey. Et vous? (the extent of my French other than food words)

I love to meet new people but dating can bring out the bizarre in all of us, but sometimes bizarre is fun! I am not into games and hope you aren't either - other than board games or party games (like Taboo, Apples to Apples, Crimes Against Humanity, I own a lot of party games). Has anyone ever heard of Robo Rally though? I am trying to find more people interested in playing this game, because it's a strategy game.

I am originally from the DC area but have been in FL long enough that I do call myself a Floridian. My whole family now lives in FL and we are pretty close. I value closeness with one's family and find I relate better to people that also share this characteristic.

I am gainfully employed, I have cats, a group of friends that I love to do random and planned things with. We really like deals and discounts - we're not cheap but saving money is being responsible right? Right??

Politics and religion are sticklers for me – I am very liberal and non-religious (though I was raised Jewish and still feel somewhat of a connection to it). I identify as atheist. I'm at a point in my life where I have no interest in dating someone who is either religious or politically conservative, specifically socially conservative.

If you are against equality for LGBT folk, a racist, a bigot, don’t respect a woman’s right to choose, or lack consistency in your beliefs, please move on.

I find creativity, intelligence and humor very sexually attractive features. I am a feminist who is anti-sexist, anti-patriarchal and sex positive.

I like to think I am true to myself and my beliefs. I am looking for someone that knows who they are and doesn't just feel they are a cog in the wheel of society even if their everyday existence consists of going to work. Please have some substance, goals, desires, ideas to share, personal philosophy, whatever. In short, please be real.

I am inquisitive, sapiosexual, and goofy.

I work to pay the bills, though I do like what I do. Then I come home and play. I have a lot of different toys so playing is fun.

I've been thinking lately about getting my masters, probably in criminal justice. I've always had an interest in working for an NGO or non-profit that deals with race/crime issues (since high school) or women's issues/reproductive rights (just since college) maybe. I have an interest in law school as well. Who knows what the future will hold for me!

Uhhh, no favorites books per se, maybe some books from childhood like Bridge to Terabithia and The Ordinary Princess. Lately I've been reading a ridiculous amount of comic books. My collection of comics, graphic novels, is HUGE...seriously, I mean ginormous. I read a lot of different genres, even some stuff written for kids, there is just so much out there. My recommendation for a laugh out loud read: Sluggy Freelance is a must (originally and still is a web comic). I would start from the beginning to "get" all the story. All I can say is "I'm burning with goodness again!" lol. What else: The Walking Dead, new Muppets comics, Empowered, PS238, The Goon, Wonderland series, Fables, and more! In case you haven't realized it yet, my name is not abbey chase

Music -- favorite band is TOOL (seen 'em 5 times as of 2-7-12!). I like a lot of oldies (the real stuff, 50s and 60s) and I admit I am kinda out of touch with new stuff but not space cadet out of touch. I like it all honestly – rock, alternative, classical, instrumental, drums, bass, various world beats, musicals, techno, rap, hip hop, r&b, ambient, goth, hardcore, reggae, oldies, soft, pop, classic rock, Motown (love me some Motown!), and so much more. My tastes are very eclectic and I will listen to anything once to see if I like it, and then I’ll download the heck out of it! (thank you pirate bay)

Love love LOVE movies. (pssst, i love them!) My dvd collection is pretty large (counting well over 400 now, so again thank you pirate bay) and my tv is as well. I am slowly but surely replacing my vhs tapes (again, thank you pirate bay), and yes I still have a lot of them and i actually use my VCR (though pirate bay has made my vcr obsolete now). Some faves are The Wizard of Oz, Dune, Alien and Aliens, The Last Unicorn, and The Dark Crystal but I like it all, including children's movies. Action is for theater and everything else is for my 55" =)

I like and cook all kinds of food, but I love me some marinating and grilling. Some of my favorite cuisines are indian and thai - i like it hot!

Why so many people are morons. The state of the world and my place in it. How everything seems so fuct up as of late -- politics, world issues, sex and sexuality, social problems, race/crime issues. Why so many people in the world are racist. How so many Americans are still racist and do not understand why they are racist BECAUSE they are so racist! Why is American culture still so anti-woman despite all this feminine empowering stuff. What American men are really angry about these days. Sex positivity and being GGG.

Doing wicked things.

Not necessarily on a Friday but I like dining out, movies, theater (Straz, Ruth Eckerd, Mahaffey), concerts, museums, Tampa Improv, outdoor events like art shows, game nights with friends, potlucks with friends, cultural festivals, stuff like that.

I'd love to get a small group together of new and eclectic people and have wine and cheese parties, or dinner parties.

I want to try one of those one course per home parties - a progressive dinner party. I love to cook!

I write erotica and I am very good at it.
