Above all else, there must be laughter. The people I appreciate most in this world are those who can make me laugh so hard I cry... and maybe even pee a little. If I have to stop what I am doing and bend over for a second, you are clearly funny. I laugh loudly, and with abandon at my best moments. I also laugh when I think my life is in danger, but that is totally different situation, and I will not be attracted to you if you inspire this kind of laughter. It is bad laughter. I hold a deep appreciation for impeccable timing, and a dry, sarcastic wit. That wins every time.

I love what I do... a lot. I get to hang out with some of the most amazing and frustrating teenagers around and try to help them discover the things that make them brilliant and unique.

When not doing that, I am doing something active outdoors: using my legs to cover distance or gain altitude, using my legs and two wheels, using my legs and arms in water, etc.

I have also decided that I don't think I trust people who do not love good food/wine and/or music. It is just a matter of celebrating what is exceptional in this world. If you are not so blown away by a bite of something magical that you need to share it with the person next to you (whether you know him or not), I am not sure about you... Same goes for amazing music - if you cannot appreciate the artistry and brilliance of lyrics and tones and beats that move masses, we may not get along.
