Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books: Frames of Mind. The Rest Is Noise, Sticks and Stones, Outliers, Half Empty, Opening Up, The Tipping Point, How Children Succeed, Bossypants, The Art of Mindful Living, anything by Rilke, of course I love my man Shakespeare, Gabriel Garcia-Marquez, Jorge Luis Borges, Mario Benneddeti Pablo Neruda, and just so I get cool points: Rumi.

Favorite Movies: Citizen Kane, Anchorman, Wasteland, 40 Year Old Virgin, Rear Window, every Almodovar, Tango Feroz and a bunch of other movies that I have fallen asleep to mainly because I think there is a glitch in my DNA's code that says: "When a flim appears on screen, one must fall asleep"

Music: Anything that has a heartbeat and a soul, analog or digital. From Charlie Garcia to Thelonious Monk to Tony Malaby to Macklemore to Pink Floyd to Terry Riley to Wayne Shorter to Hector Lavoe and the countless weird avant garde, noise jams and ethnic musics from around the globe made by mainluy human beings, the elements, animals and some apple computers.

TV Shows: Breaking Bad. Whose Line Is It Anyways?

Food: If it is wholesome and with love, fresh and perhaps organic, I'l love it EXEPT: Avocados, Mayonnaise, VINEGAR or vinegary smelling foods. Ethinically speaking I'll eat anything as long as it didn't once have a heart beat or blood running through it, although every now and then I eat fish. I am no stranger to Indian, Ethiopian, Latino!!!and of course Cajun/New Orleans food. Nowadays I am trying to be mostly vegan but will not say no to a good weird cheese or a delicious gelato, or a pastelito de queso from the street vendor in Washington heights...

5) Some kind of surface to drum on. Could be a coconut, a cardboard box, or the skin of an animal wrapped around the trunk of a tree.
6) The MaKey MaKey.
