My Self-Summary

I'm a socially awkward alcoholic nerd who spends too much time on the computer. If you can get past all that, you'd probably find I'm a loyal friend and a nice guy. I'm incredibly open minded, and pretty much nothing scares me off. I have my own quirks, but you'd have to hang out with me to really see 'em.

What I’m doing with my life

Funemployed - by choice. I'm now waiting to go back to school in December in Rochester.

I spent three years in Dublin drinking and traveling and working, and really could use a break. After I got back I worked as a game tester for Uncharted 2, but that was more to help a friend than anything else.

I’m really good at

Anything and nothing. If I care about something, I can get really good at it. Other than I'm really good at procrastinating.

Also, I'm good at drinking. I spent three hours in a line to be one of the first to taste a new stout at the Bruery. I'm not a beer snob...yet. I still retain my love for whiskey and tequila.

So, no longer have the long hair...possibly my height? I really have no idea...

I fluctuate between having long hair and not. I like it longer, but cut it recently for my sisters wedding. Hoping it'll grow back soon :)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

books: Flowers for Algernon, Accelerando, pretty much anything by Neal Stephenson

movies: Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog, The Salton Sea, Donnie Darko, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Requiem for a Dream

music: Pretty much anything...I like to play jazz and classic rock, though I prefer to listen to heavier stuff usually. My favorite band is Metallica, and I enjoy A Perfect Circle, Flogging Molly, etc etc etc...

foods: Italian, mexican, breakfast (usually eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon in a burrito or something), Sushi

The six things I could never do without

Friends, computer, memories, my car, a warm bed, and a good kitchen...

Also, I like having a local bar and local coffee shop that's open until at least midnight. Lacking both right now is driving me a little crazy...
