My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm quiet and shy and ruthlessly sarcastic and often, i come off as cold when it comes to first impressions. But give me a chance, dude. I can at least warm up to tepid.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just graduated, finally picked up my diploma and everything and while that's great and all it's just a little bittersweet. I think i'm just about the only person in the world who really LOVES going to school (psshh wattanerd) so it's sad to see it end for now, but I'm excited to find a better job and have some time to really fix up my portfolio, so I can get more art gigs too. Oh yeah, by the way, I'm an artist. I draw and paint and stuff like that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very short, and I blush extremely easily.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Anything by Kurt Vonnegut, particularly Bluebeard and Breakfast of Champions. Douglas Adams's "trilogy." The Things They Carried. Most things by Chuck Palahniuk and Roald Dahl. I like to read and am open to suggestions.

I love sci-fi movies, even and especially somewhat shitty ones. Think Primer and Sunshine. I like to either think or laugh when I watch a movie--if a movie can make me do both, I'll love it forever. Obviously I love Quentin Tarantino movies, every one I've seen at least. And Hayao Miyazaki's films are wonderful.

As far as TV shows, again, I love thinking and laughing. I just finally watched the IT Crowd, can't wait for the new season of Community, love Breaking Bad and House, watched every season of Lost. I generally enjoy most things on the adult swim lineup and have seen every episode of King of the Hill way too many times. I like to watch the food network when I have nothing better to do.

I listen to all sorts of music: Of Montreal and The Mountain Goats are probably my "favorites", if you can really have such a thing when it comes to a subject as diverse and context-sensitive as music. I listen to Why? when I'm feeling sulky. Rilo Kiley and Laura Stevenson when I feel like crooning, Andrew Jackson Jihad when I feel like screaming. Beck, the Shins, Circa Survive/Anthony Green every once in a while. 8-bit and Chiptune on occasion. The Gorillaz are pretty great. There's more I'm sure, but honestly who's reading all this?

I love cooking, like, anything. I like to eat somewhat adventurously. I try to eat "healthy"-ish but I'm totally willing to grab some Burger King or Taco Bell, particularly if i'm any bit intoxicated.

TL;DR: I'm not picky.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good food and good bourbon. Art (mostly doing, but some admiring), Sci-fi, dry humor. Sleep also. In no particular order.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out in my apartment, maybe with a glass of whiskey or a good beer, attempting to play guitar and sing over it, with mixed results. Trying to put a paintbrush to a canvas and get something resembling "art". Spending way too much time cooking. Putting off some sort of work. Watching netflix.

I'm generally pretty low key, but every once in a while I can be coerced to hit up a big party or something of the sort. Generally I prefer hanging around parks and dive bars, and wandering around in fancy neighborhoods looking for fancy food that I can't afford.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There isn't anything. Maybe ask me, drop me a line, and we'll go from there. After all, what good is a secret you're willing to tell anyone?

You like Kurt Vonnegut and speak sarcasm fluently. Also, if you think i'm cool and stuff.
