When I was 14, my family and I took our annual trip to Ocean City. It was the first year that I noticed a girl on the beach every day... she was about 2 blocks down the sand from me, but always garnered my attention. By the 5th night, I decided to venture down to the beach on my own and listen to my walkman. Sure, I was secretly hoping she would magically come out at the same time and notice me without me actually putting any effort into it. What do you know, she really did. I spent most of the night with her and her friends walking up the beach laughing and experiencing things I had never done with a girl I liked before. Eventually she grabbed my hand and that was our moment. Unfortunately it was her last night at the beach and cell phones/email/facebook didn't exist back then. I never asked for her number, in fact, even though I loved being around her, I never really "tried" to get her attention or continue our contact. Obviously I never saw or heard from her again, is that how all of my relationships have gone?

You're funny or if you think my face is funny. I'm not a big fan of the instant date, I'd prefer having a few conversations first. Men and women can be just friends.
If you type the word "shud" instead of "should" please don't contact me.
