I'm pretty laid back but can get intense and passionate about certain things. I have a Ph.D. in computer science and work in a scientific environment. I believe in leaving the world a better place than I found it.

I like to laugh. I work hard and enjoy the company of my friends over a beer, a football game, a discussion on anything under the sun be it politics, geography, or history. In that way I consider myself to be a multifaceted person.

I spend some part of my spare time training for a marathon.
I am part of an 8 member team that runs the River-to-River relay. I will also travel to Berlin this year to run the marathon.

My work time is spent in front of a computer screen drinking tea.

Cryptic crosswords.
Bad jokes.
Driving on long trips.
Discussing arcane topics I know something about, listening on topics I do not know something.
Sitting in silence contemplating life.
Pacing a long run.

Not sure. Probably that I'm Indian.

Pride and Prejudice is always wonderful. I will always feel sad when I see an adaptation of 'The diary of Anne Frank'. Really like seeing Notting Hill. I like sitcoms, 'Hercule Poirot', British humor and foreign films.

Dead tired from the work week. I am more active on Saturday. I usually have no specific plans. I am perfectly happy not drinking on Friday or Saturday. But I enjoy it when I do.
