My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I feel like I am a person of contradictions. I am quite until the right topic hits and I can't stop talking. I study technology but dream of doing something artistic. Sometimes I need my own space away from everyone but after my people batteries are charged I want to interact with my friends and be among people. I want to get better at things I enjoy and show others what I've learned but I am also terrified I fail to meet the expectations I've set for myself and hide my abilities. I long for change, yet find comfort in doing things like I've always done them. I used to wrestle, but decided dancing was a better hobby.

I haven't quite figured out myself completely and probably never will. All I know for sure is that a smile makes me really happy and I'm certain to return that smile.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a student in Tampere University of Technology trying to tie up my studies and pondering where my life goes on from there.

In my free time my number one hobby is a partner dance known as lindy hop. When I'm alone I like to watch movies, TV series, play PC games and listen to music. I also recently started jogging again.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I like to think I'm good at things I get motivated to do. At the moment this would mean dancing and avoiding most of my school work. I am a technically oriented person, and know my way around computers. If I don't know something I am supposed to do, then I will try and gather the knowledge and the skills required to get around my obstacles.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm very good at melding into the background when I so choose to. Not the most noticeable guy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
So many favorite things. When it comes to different types of media I like to think that "Any genre of anything isn't good or bad in and of itself. If you look hard enough, you will find something you like. Some genres just might need a bigger effort than others."

A song of Ice and Fire(better known by its TV series counterpart Game of Thrones) is most certainly my favorite book series. This one's easy though because I don't read all that much.

In movies I tend to like psychological drama, surrealist and absurdist elements and great atmosphere. The two directors who I consider to stand on top of everyone else are Ingmar Bergman and Stanley Kubrick. After them comes a massive list of names including the likes of David Lynch, Chang-Dong Lee, Chan-Wook Park, Kar-Wai Wong, Sergio Leone, Michael Haneke and many others.

I watch TV in bursts where I marathon a series down in short time and then go back to other media. Some of my favorites are Farscape, Babylon 5, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Twin Peaks and ton of others I forgot to mention. From time to time I also watch anime and the one show that deserves a mention is FLCL.

My music listening doesn't have any patterns. One day I am listening to post-rock bands like Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Yndi Halda, one day pop artists like Björk and Shiina Ringo and then hardcore and metal bands like Converge and Cult of Luna. Some other bands I really want to mention are Streetlight Manifesto, Portishead, PJ Harvey, La Dispute, Ling Tosite Sigure, The Smiths, Pixies and oh so many others.

One of my all time game favorites is the original Silent Hill trilogy. Thief 1 & 2, System Shock 2 and Deus Ex are other great games. Of recent games the Witcher 2 and Dark Souls have left a deep impression on me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My PC, dancing, movies, music, dark and rainy autumn evenings and a damn fine cup of coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Conversations I will never likely have. Especially when I'm in shower or cleaning up the house. I take the position of myself and the person I'm having a conversation with and then make up all the dialogue.

A lot of time I spend thinking of movies or games. Especially the kind of games or movies I'd make if I got the chance. I love to create the pieces in my head even though I know they will never come to be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am a student. Friday night for me is pretty much like any other night. I might be hanging out with some friends, I could be watching a movie or playing a game.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

The Room is the greatest movie ever made and Tommy Wiseau is a mad genius.
