I especially enjoy being outdoors. Nothing relaxes me more than the smell of the lake (I don't mean these dirty, stinky Texas lakes, although they are great for fishing. I grew up on Broken Bow Lake, clear and deep and beautiful.) I like to camp alot. I prefer staying in a tent, lets me know I'm outdoors and not just in a small hotel room :) I love to fish. Nothing tastes better than fresh fish. Even if I'm at home, I like to be outside working my yard and garden.
I workout on a regular basis and think staying healthy is important. I try to eat healthy foods but I must say, I'm a sucker for Taco Bueno nachos now and then. It is important to me, however, that my partner be health conscious.
I like to do a variety of activities instead of the same stuff over and over. I enjoy watching and playing sports, camping, the ballet and symphony, rock concerts, etc. I recently tried orienteering and had blast doing that. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE renaissance festivals and go to Scarborough Faire at least once every year, in full costume of course :) I'm pretty much open to trying any new activity but I do also enjoy relaxing at home. I wouldn't really say I'm spontaneous, I prefer to plan my activities rather than just jump into something unprepared.
I don't watch much TV but do enjoy a movie now and then. BUT, I don't like horror movies and no I would not like to watch just this one, just this once. (That's what you have friends for, haha)
I read ALOT.
I'm a little quiet in large crowds but quite talkative and assertive once I get to know everyone. I'm a horrible speller, thank goodness for google and wiktionary (yes, I've used it several times for this summary). I love to debate various issues, including politics. If you find this argumentative or offensive you probably won't like me :) I like people who enjoy a good discussion and have general interest in random knowledge.
I try to be cognizant of how I can be of help to my community and others around me. "Your choices will change the world" - unknown fortune cookie author, but I taped it to my desk at work :)
