My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I try not to draw attention to myself, and I take manners and politeness pretty seriously. What I'm saying is, your mom would love me. I like fresh food (and all food), and I pretend I'm an expert chef because I catch an episode of Chopped here and there. I'm so optimistic that some people find it frustrating, and a few have told me so—I smiled and told them to cheer up. I'm all about all activities, though I'm hesitant to learn new skills that put me at risk of embarrassing myself (rock climbing, you taunt me). If you think you can beat me at ping pong, well, that's cute. Karma is real.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Real talk? Peace Corps. I leave in May for China.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
people. Reading them, talking to them, leading them, following them, understanding them, you name it. Also, sarcastic irony... to the point where people actually think I'm stupid.

my height? Or maybe that I unapologetically shatter a fashion-don't from time to time.

I really, really want to read more of the classics. That said, I'm unashamed to have enjoyed all the crowd-pleasers like Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, and The Hunger Games. Brave New World and Animal Farm are my favorite classics (so far).

Kill Bill I-II is one of my favorites, along with any Pixar movies, Argo, The Blair Witch Project, Inception, The Dark Knight, V for Vendetta, Little Miss Sunshine, How to Train Your Dragon, and many more.

Television—BSG (if you have to ask, nevermind), Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, It's Always Sunny, Game of Thrones, Jeopardy, Adventure Time, American Horror Story, Modern Family. I started Pretty Little Liars with a roommate as a joke once... by the end of the second season, we had to admit we were watching for keeps. We stopped.

I can listen to tons of different music genres, but I'm into really annoying Synth Pop lately (I resent missing the 80s). My favorite band of all time is called The Seedy Seeds, check 'em out. My playlist lately features CHVRCHES, The Naked and Famous, The Association, and Caught a Ghost.

I describe my current diet as "welfare nursing home" cuisine... Lots of steamed greens, oatmeal every morning, and I eat more beets than anybody I've ever met. Seriously, it's weird. But they're totally delicious. Foods I dislike? That's a short list. I'll try anything once (including street tripe in Ecuador). Sauerkraut is stupid. My comfort food hearkens the "beef is what's for dinner" mentality I was raised with... steak, burgers, mashed potatoes, meatloaf, green bean casserole. Oh my.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Old Spice.
Pearl Snap.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The weirdness of the human race, and how petty a lot of our problems are. Also, when my life will turn that corner where I'll look back and laugh at the years of roommates, Folger's, empty fridges, and underpaid labor.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
out with friends or hosting them at home.

That won't be necessary. I'm a champion of embarrassing stories and self deprecating humor.

you want to? Pretty sure none of us have anything to lose on okcupid. I reply selectively, okay, I'm really just too nonchalant for my own good (I'm sometimes known to respond to friends' text messages days after receipt) and to be honest, I feel weird being overly proactive about dating. We're allowed to be picky and we're allowed to be patient. Youth culture forever.
