My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I apologize in advance for leaving my shirt on in my photos.

Just moved into Lancaster, it's great! I love being able to walk to market, among other places.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just starting working in the ICU. (I'm an RN)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Random trivia, making friends laugh, and I can make an appetizing meal out of anything in the fridge. Well, almost anything. Mustard and parmesean cheese don't go very well together.

Active conversation; about current events, historical events, baseball, the White Stripes' third album or pretty much anything else. I try to stay informed thanks to NPR, reddit, and other various news outlets.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Infectious laugh, always smiling and joking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I enjoy cooking, and I also love finding great falafel, sushi, craft brew, and coffee joints.

I'm always interested in trying something new.

I can't estimate how many times I've read The Great Escape. Moneyball, Kitchen Confidential and Band of Brothers are fantastic reads. Most recently, I read "Life by Keith Richards.

Movies- Daniel Day-Lewis is my favorite actor, and I thought Lincoln was great. Wes Anderson films are some of my favorites; I can never decide between The Life Aquatic, Royal Tenenbaums, and Rushmore. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Dr. Strangelove, Big Lebowski, Fargo.
I also love dumb comedies. Super Troopers, Beerfest, Zoolander, and Dumber and Dumber are a few.

TV: Arrested Development, Archer, Louie, Futurama, Community, Seinfeld, Trailer Park Boys, Scrubs, The Wire, House of Cards, Mad Men, and Breaking Bad.

Music:
Can't wait for the new Daft Punk album

Edit:I was correct in my anticipation. Random Access Memories rules, even if they overplayed Get Lucky as much as Blurred Lines.

a snapshot of my varying tastes and affinities

Lately? I've been listening to a lot of Ryan Adams and M83, and Tame Impala is amazing. Some jazz or other instrumental music when I study (Miles Davis and Cannonball Adderley) fairly common. The Band is a current obsession as well. Wilco, The Rolling Stones. Neutral Milk Hotel, Silver Jews, My Bloody Valentine, Neko Case, Kurt Vile, Neil Young, The Mountain Goats. Built to Spill. A Tribe Called Quest. Yo La Tengo. Belle & Sebastian. Radiohead.

I also love Radiolab, Sound Opinions, and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My phone, i know it's cliche but Spotify is the best thing ever. (Spotify is playing on my phone as I type this)

Sriracha & hummus.

Close friends.

Cliché, but fall weather. Sunny and 85 is awesome but not year-round... I love having all four seasons.

traveling. I love getting away, even if it's just a day trip
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Road trips, space, finding my Creedence tapes. Where I'll be in five years... But who doesn't think about that?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
No such thing as a typical Friday night for me! I don't think I'll ever work a 9-5 job, and I'm OK with that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I never know what to put here. I'm an open book in person, I'll say that.
