My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm David, named after the Christian bible character. Call me Dave if you like.

I take extra joy in science fiction, Earl Grey tea, my arduino, running, hiking every other day, and inconspicuously admiring my reflection in public.

My first body mod was a subcutaneous NFC compatible RFID tag in one of my hands. No, the government can't track me with it. Yes, I store stupid shit on it. I also have a magnet in one of my fingers. I can sense magnetic fields; not in the capacity that a bird can, but microwave ovens make my spidey sense tingle.

I've been going to the gym every day for 2 months so far. I now find it fun and I like this new lifestyle choice.

The only thing I agree with in my personality tab is "More Cool"
I reset my questions and I will get around to answering more. I can only tolerate going like 10 at a time.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Soon: starting my education as a Construction Electrician.

I'd like to become an electrician by trade because I've been familiar with the subject for some time already. I enjoy tinkering with integrated circuits as well as the occasional mental math and programming that goes with it.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Working with electronics. I have a small portfolio of personal computers I've built for people that asked. Also there's a few dozen devices running around with my handy work used to repair them.

Videogames. YEAH. Check out my Steam page @
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall. My darling blue eyes. I've had a number of people ask if they're contacts but they were probably just hitting on me.

Help your potential matches find common interests.
Certainly not limited to these few.

Favorite books include Asimov's Robot series, Contact, Harry Potter, Darkly Dreaming Dexter, The Humanoids, Manseed (I picked it up because the unfortunate name stood out, turned out to be an instant favourite), Nineteen Eighty-Four, World War Z

Favorite music includes Annie, Audioslave, Beirut, Broken Bells, CSS, CCR, Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Freezepop, Iron Maiden, Ladyhawke, Ladytron, Marilyn Manson, Marnie, Marsheaux, Mindless Self Indulgence, Muse, Orgy, Pink Floyd, Queen, Radiohead, Rob Zombie, Sound Garden, Tears for Fears

I'm finding my way through and enjoying a lot of the synthpop music out there. Soulless, perhaps. Catchy nonetheless.

Favorite shows include Star Trek The Next Generation, Deep Space 9, Orange Is the New Black, Fringe, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Dexter (seasons 1-4), Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Banshee
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Light weight running shoes.
Steam because it has all my games.
Soulless synthpop beats to concentrate on boring things.
Books /// wireless entertainment!
Feminism because it's in my best interests.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Science Fiction;

What I'm going to do with my life. After learning a trade it's really a toss up. How do I know if when I'm 30 I wont look back and say "what an idiot"?

Although, I'd like to own a business in aforementioned trade by the time I hit 50 years old. Maybe I'll pursue that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
-Thinking about going to the bar to meet people
-Realize I really don't think that sort of thing is fun
-Why would I want to exclusively meet people who think that sort of thing is fun
-Delete Facebook and hit the gym
-Repeat ad infinitum.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I broke my neck that one time.

Pretty straight-forward.
