I am upbeat, loyal, and adventurous.

My Self-Summary

Up for anything, all-American, dependable, and hard working. I kinda sound like a Chevy huh?

I'm sometimes funny, always enthusiastic, and never late. I've been in Albuquerque a little over a year and while my green chili tolerance is still shamefully low, it's home now.

What I’m doing with my life

I raise money to make this community better. Fighting for and being a part of my community is one of the most important things in my life so I'll be totally upfront, my work life and my personal life tend to be pretty indistinguishable a lot of the time.

I’m really good at

I am a shockingly good at skipping rocks. Living in New Mexico means my super awesome rock skipping skills don't exactly come in handy but I hope one day I'll find myself in a situation where someone yells "can anyone skip rocks?" with the same urgency usually reserved for " Is there a doctor in the house?" or "Who can diffuse this bomb?". A girl can hope.

I can recall useless trivia like no other.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm usually pretty dressed up for Albuquerque. I promise I'm way more laid back than my shoes.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm one of those people who will pour over an AARP brochure because it's there.

I don't really read fiction. Life is always stranger than fiction. Colin Thubron is my favorite travel writer but pretty much anything about Siberia or Central Asia is a hit with me.

Roadhouse is my favorite movie. 'nuf said.

I love good food but day to day I eat like a feral toddler.

The six things I could never do without

National Geographic Magazine, Lip Gloss, Pepperidge Farm Parmesan Goldfish Crackers, Stupid Jokes, My Library Card, Friends.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

what a crazy shadow that is, snacks, earth destroying asteroids, where did I put my shoes?, not falling on my face, coloring books, how awesome New Mexico is, ooh cute boy, wacky dinosaur names, tea, how bad I am at origami, commercial jingles, apples, ooh that cute boy is walking by again, how much wood would a Woodchuck chuck if a Woodchuck could chuck wood?, apples, best form for finger snapping, heh that one joke that one time was funny, ok seriously where are my shoes?, why I have so many pens, Neil Diamond, Google Earth, how do you spell her last name?.

On a typical Friday night I am

There really is no such thing as a typical night for me and that's just how I like it. One friday has me dressed up at at a fancy shindig for work while the next has me in bed eating parmesan goldfish for dinner, watching bad television and a third has me on a road trip to a part of New Mexico I picked from a map at random.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I was at the midnight showing of Hellboy II.

You should message me if

... you want to. Being a good person and facial hair are total pluses.

I hope you're comfortable taking things offline pretty quickly. There is either chemistry of there isn't and that's not something I think can be figured out online.
