Surprisingly, I always find writing about myself extremely tedious. However, I seem to be pretty good at it. One of the things I cannot stand is citing my profession as it seems to be socially indicative of my entire existence but considering it is an inevitable question, I'm a journalist.
Despite being bound to country South Australia through the weeks, I'm what some may deem as 'geographically unstable'. I work to travel and I try to go overseas as often as possible. In 2015, I went on five seperate trips to different locations. If I'm not jetting off, I also enjoy attending festivals and gigs (RIP Parklife). I'm quite eclectic in my musical tastes but grunge will always be my numero uno.
It takes quite a lot to get me agitated. My worst trait would have to be my sleeping pattern. I'm fluent in Italian but the only time I speak it is when I'm bitching about people with my Nonna in public. My only regret in life is missing out on Daft Punk Alive 07. I really enjoy psychology and sociology and try to incorporate it in both my academic and social life. I love coffee, travelling, butterscotch incense and buying two punnets of strawberries for $3.
I think it's difficult to determine my personality from a few awkward and badly constructed sentences and I joined this thing primarily for the quizzes. But if you think I'm interesting or if you think we have anything in common, feel free to send a message my way.
What I’m doing with my life
I write, take photos and save my pennies for my next holidays. On the downtime (or more appropriately, lack thereof) I study psychology and criminology. In addition to this, I sometimes get outrageously drunk and do shit that potentially could a. turn me into a YouTube sensation or b. get arrested. One day I will be working for Al Jazeera, so pending on my placement the drinking will stop eventually.
I’m really good at
Eating strawberries. Swearing. Picking what personality disorder someone has. Not realising the often dangerous situations I get myself into. Covering events and making the most of the free alcohol. Not remembering what I did the night before. Making everyone in a room laugh and cringe. Making a mess of a kitchen. Flirting with deadlines and flirting with interview subjects. Structuring news stories like assignments and critiquing the mainstream. Annoying my Facebook friends through never ending anti-US sentiments.
The first things people usually notice about me
My loud demeanour or my seemingly nonchalant attitude, which is total bullshit because I'm a total stress head. My penchant for cardigans and wild coloured lipstick does the trick too.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next travel destination. War and how to prevent it. Ways to throw the patriarchy on its head. What angle to take the next front page photo, which at the present time consumes around 90% of my life. I also like to ponder what the next weekend stores, and trying to figure out the blanks from the previous one.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drunk, at work, or any combination thereof.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am addicted to chatroulette and I hold up signs saying 'Does your
mother know what you're doing?'
You should message me if
You're weird, intelligent, and enjoy at least 4 things you've seen
on this page. Bonus points if you use the Oxford Comma. Deduct
points if you had to Google it.
