My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What can I say? I'm a fan of history, and I believe that the children are our future. I'm most often described as sarcastic, but funny. If I'm pushing the sarcastic thing too much, just tell me. I'm good at following directions.
I like to play guitar, and bass guitar, and I'm always down to jam or play with someone who can sing. A girl with a voice is sexy.
I used to bowl a lot, but now my interests have turned to soccer - playing and watching. I will also say that I love my camera. I've always enjoyed the art of film, and enjoy very much making short films, so long as the script is good. Can you write a script? We might be famous.

I think the silent treatment sucks.

I love to drink coffee, especially if it's with someone over a nice and comfortable conversation at the Brewing Market (or Starbucks, if we must). Although, I must admit: I brew some pretty bitchin' coffee in my personal Mr. Coffee.

I am on fire, ice-cold (what's cooler than being cool?), and thirsty.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I taught high schoolers in Longmont for two years, and now I am teaching 7-8th graders in Denver. It's be a big change, but I'm excited. Well, it is both exciting and nerve-racking. Oh man, I have a career. How new/awesome.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being funny! Laughing at myself, and situations that people don't normally laugh at. I feel like life is so much more fun when you can poke fun at/laugh at all aspects of it.
I think I'm also really good at listening, and letting people confide in me. I was always the Dr. Phil of relationships during my high school years, and I guess I've held onto some of that now. With that comes my ability to be really good at voicing an opinion, even if it's an unpopular one.
I am also good at telling historical stories. Think drunk history, just less funny.
The first things people usually notice about me

My tattoos or my beard. Feel free to ask about the significance of the tattoos... or the beard, I guess.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My guitar
2. My music
3. Soccer
4. My bike
5. My friends
6. My family

Not necessarily in that order. In fact, not at all in that order.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future (like, what kind of computer chip will I inevitably have installed in my brain), and the world around us.
I also like to think about the past, (history major! What?) and how seemingly small decisions lead to major world events. I ponder the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and often wonder if he hadn't been shot, would there still be that terrible band named after him?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no typical Friday night, but I'd probably be enjoying a beer or two with my roommates or neighbors. Otherwise, I might be out driving my Prius around for money (UberX).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to listen to pop music when I am bored. Then, I will proceed to play acoustic versions of aforementioned pop songs. It's a riot, I swear.
I also swear a lot when I've been drinking (but I guess that isn't so private once you get to know me).

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You see anything that piques your interest. I'm friendly, and I can't wait to meet new people. Bonus points if you're a fan of soccer, a musician, a singer, or if you've ever been to Amsterdam! How about if you like a good theme party?

Or do whatever you want. Whatever. Message me if you don't believe in traditional gender roles, and you are not afraid to make the first "move."
