3. I’m really passionate about serving others, which is why I chose a career in public service.
4. My sense of humor is subtle, and can sometimes involve light sarcasm, banter, and laughing at our own faults.
5. I appreciate the chance to be lazy and/or plan adventures when not working.
6. I love landscape and nature photography, and travelling to pursue this hobby.

I’m a Deputy State government minion extraordinaire. On a more serious note, when I tell people what I do, they usually respond with “you have such an interesting job.” Maybe I’ll get to tell you about it one day.

When I am not working, I appreciate the chance to relax and be lazy, or plan adventures. I love exploring Los Angeles, hanging out at a local coffee house while catching up on current events, eating out, going barhopping, cooking, or getting out of town for the weekend. One of my biggest hobbies is nature and landscape photography, and I love to travel to locations where I can pursue this hobby.

…taking an objective look at myself as a person, assessing what is working in my life and what is not, and being able to make necessary changes.

On a less serious note, I’m good at parallel parking and taking photographs.

I am also an awesome bowler, an extremely good listener, and an expert at staying positive no matter what life throws at you.

Books: Ham on Rye, Factotum, and Post Office by Charles Bukowski. Any book on the history and culture of the Los Angeles region.

Movies: Anything funny, romantic comedies, documentaries.

TV Shows: Mad Men, Modern Family, and Southland.

Music: I have an eclectic taste in music that includes songs from the top of the charts to jazz to Latin.

Food: Italian and Mexican food. You can also never go wrong with a good burger or slice of pizza.

Okay, no abstract items allowed on a list like this. If I could take myself, along with my worldly possessions, back in time to my kindergarten days, the items that I would bring in to class for show-and-tell would be:
- Dog (a Yorkshire terrier, or Yorkie)
- iPhone
- Car
- Canon DSLR
- Collection of fountain pens and other cool writing utensils
- Historical photos

First, how to make myself a better person, friend, and of course, a future boyfriend to someone.

Second, I spend time thinking about social justice, and how to make the world we live in a better place.

Third, whenever lunchtime approaches, there is always the all-important question about where to go eat.

Either relaxing at home with a movie or out on the town at a new restaurant or bar.

For fun, I like doing pretty much anything, as long as I am with the right company. This includes dining out, going to bars, cooking (and taking cooking classes), watching DVDs, going to the movies, bowling, mini-golfing, attending Dodger games, visiting museums, shopping, going on long drives, hiking, running/walking, photography, going on road trips, and traveling.

Sorry, if you want to know about things that are private to me, you have to earn my respect and trust first!

1. You are playful, fun, clever, and smart.
2. You tell awesome jokes, and will laugh at mine – even the bad ones.
3. You are curious about your world, and open to different cultures and trying new things. If they turn out to be a disaster afterwards, we can always laugh it off!
4. You have a solid relationship with your family: You count on them for love and support. You get together with them during the holidays, and perhaps share fun, silly traditions.
5. You speak a second language – any language. If you don’t, it’s no problem. I can teach you Spanish, and in return, you can teach me something new yourself.
6. You love dogs – even the small ones. I’m very suspicious of people who dislike dogs.
7. You don’t smoke or do drugs. Seriously, I don’t care how beautiful, great, or accomplished you are – smokers and druggies are deal breakers.
8. You are looking to meet someone to start a friendship with first, and then see what happens from there. I’m not looking for flings.
