My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Summarizing one's self is like summarizing Moby Dick as a book about a guy who hates a whale. It is accurate, but lacking in nuance.

I am open and honest, with a thoughtful streak. Confident and looking for someone who is the same. I love to hike and get outside with the pup.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Adventuring, learning, and trying to do no harm. Ideally doing better than that but, you know, the best laid plans.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making goulash and figuring out games. I'm also great at always having dog treats on my person.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Either that I am pretty tall, or that I have a very loud laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I have only read one book I didn't like. Aliens Ate My Homework. It had such a promising title too. Some of my favorites include The Way of Kings, The Song of Ice and Fire series, and Facebook.

I like bad movies and great movies, and find the line between them to be pretty small. The best bad movie is The Room, and my all time favorite movie is Jaws.

Most of the TV I watch is what is on Netflix and Hulu, and I never watch it on my TV, which begs the question, why do I still call it TV?

I gave up on ITunes a while back and made the switch to Spotify. I have more faith in its understanding of my likes and dislikes than I do in my own.

I'm a vegetarian who loves all sorts of food. Indian, Thai, Mexican, really I'll try any style, place, or dish once (so long as its vegetarian that is).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
This question give me existential angst. I love many things, but I think I'd manage if they went away. The top of my list of things I'd rather not give up would be my cat, dog, hummus, and my tendency to shortchange lists.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to make the most of a limited time. What small projects to tackle next. Where Waldo is.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The older I get the more Friday's turn from "Yeah! Up all night!" to "Lets be sure to be in bed by a reasonable hour!" It's wild up in here.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a bit of a nerd.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if you have a secret to share. Secrets are much more fun when shared.

Also, if you have seen Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead. I love that movie.
