Books: Fiction mostly with some memoirs thrown in. Non-depressing.
Usually by someone witty. Tom Robbins and David Sedaris come to
mind. Chelsea Handler's books are also quite awesome, if you ask
me
Movies: anything stupid. The only movies I can quote are
Zoolander, Dumb and Dumber, Best in Show, The Big Lebowski,
Anchorman... You get the idea. It's sad, really.
Any of the Wes Anderson films in the vein of The Royal
Tenenbaums
Also, anything psychological. Memento, Secretary, David Lynch
films....
I guess they either have to make me laugh or make me think
TV: 30 Rock, Dexter, Weeds, Sons of Anarchy, Shameless, The Wire,
Modern Family, Archer, Chelsea Lately, How it's Made (I could watch
this all day, every day), getting into Breaking Bad now...
Music: Generally not top 40. Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison, Joe
Cocker, Jimi Hendrix, Wilco, Radiohead, The Derek Trucks Band, The
Black Keys, Girl in a Coma, Heartless Bastards, Alabama Shakes,
anything bluesy, anything with a great guitarist or drummer. I
recently developed an appreciation for Pixies but tend to hate most
80's music, ESPECIALLY Journey (although I always find myself
singing along to Don't Stop Believin'. I just can't help
myself)
Food: All of it. I can appreciate really good food, but something
has to be really awful for me to stop eating it.
In case I haven't fully disclosed my classiness yet, I'm pretty
sure that a Whopper Value Meal would be my last meal if I had to
choose (no cheese, extra pickles).
