Hi, my name's Adam, I'm 25, I've been living in Ottawa for a bit almost 3 years now, and I figured what better way to meet people than through the interconnected network of networks. I'm an animator and I work at an animation studio here in Ottawa, working mostly on children's TV shows. Some people would refer to me as something of a geek, although I prefer the term "delightfully eccentric." So I would love to meet a girl that doesn't mind me not being into sports, and doesn't mind going to see Pixar movies in theatres.

I love movies, TV shows, and video games, of pretty much any genre as long as they have good stories and interesting characters.

I'm a very easygoing guy who is a little quiet at first but I open up once I get to know people. I like animals, I love traveling, although I have yet to do that much of it, and I'm hoping I can meet a nice, fun, moderately geeky - ahem - "delightfully eccentric" young lady who's looking for the same thing. Well, its all relative, isn't it? I suppose I'm pretty good at drawing compared to the average joe off the street, but compared to the pros I've got a long way to go.

Books: 1984, Watchmen, The Time Traveler's Wife, Frankenstein, Harry Potter.

Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, The Lion King, Back to the Future, Pan's Labyrinth, Jurassic Park, American Beauty, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, anything Judd Apatow, pretty much anything Pixar.

TV Shows: Breaking Bad, The Wire, Dexter, Community, and I just started watching How I met Your Mother.

Video Games: Mass Effect, Uncharted, Shadow of the Colossus, Mirror's Edge, Portal

Music: Pretty much anything with a good melody, some punk rock (Bowling for Soup, Goldfinger, My Chemical Romance), a little power metal (Helloween, Luca Turilly, Sonata Arctica) , some regular rock (Queen, ACDC, The Beatles, The Strokes), as well as some musicals and film scores.

Food: Italian, Chinese, Mexican, BBQ, Indian, you name it. I like pretty much anything unless it has onions in it. Blech.

Art/animation/filmaking, that sort of thing. Its a career that requires constant passion and if you block it out once 5 O'Clock rolls around, you're probably not going to make it. That and space travel, robots, and all sorts of scientific advancements and discoveries. We live in an amazing time

Hanging out with friends at a pub or something, or just spending a quiet evening in watching a movie

I've never seen a Die Hard movie. I haven't tried to avoid them it just somehow never happened
