My self-summary
I'm Adam; I found my dream job and moved to Asheville about a year ago...then left it to start a dream business with an old college buddy. I'm passionate about what I do and about close relationships. I'd like to think I'm an intelligent, funny, compassionate, fun-loving, cultured, driven, perspective-oriented entrepreneur, while still being critical and analytical.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm starting a business in Asheville. Also mountain biking, looking for a connection on the Internet, looking forward to cold outdoor drinks on warm sultry nights, watching Creature Comforts and Danger 5, and striving to hone a life of balance.
I’m really good at
Foosball, ping pong, dodge ball and other tertiary-importance sports. Also, spreadsheets, approaching issues, thoughts, and challenges from multiple perspectives, striving to be the best that I can.
The first things people usually notice about me
When I'm surrounded by good people and am happy, I'm pretty much one of the more fun people to be around.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Creature Comforts and Danger 5 - while both short-lived - have recently changed my world. I don't really watch television anymore (it's like a teenage alcoholic saying they no longer drink)...but I'm fairly into european soccer. Of course, Always Sunny, Arrested Development are oldies but goodies. I'm reading mostly non-fiction about business start-up and improving cities these days. I flirt with keeping on top of current events; I have a NY Times home subscription to help me perpetually and ever-fluidly vacillate between the satisfaction of achieving this goal and guilt surrounding failing at it utterly.
The six things I could never do without
*Walkable urban environment
*Access to outdoors / mountains nearby
*Satisfying work environment
*Great friends
*Intellectual stimulation
*Seasons
(Ultimately, I'm probably lying to you/myself if alcohol and/or coffee aren't included here somewhere)

I dislike protective film and Ed Hardy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My bidnes. My health. Walkability.
On a typical Friday night I am
doin' something awesome!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know the alphabet backwards llew ylemertxe.

  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating

you can relate, sister.
