I'm a very relaxed fella, but not very socially active (which is mostly by choice). I spend most of my time with my son, but now that he's in school I have more free time than I want and wouldn't mind someone to share some of that time (as long as I keep at least some for myself). I'm ultimately looking for a girlfriend, but friends will be sufficient. I tend to get along rather well with women as I'm somewhat androgynous and a rather good listener. If you want to be friends I couldn't care less what you look like. I will hang out with anyone (as long as they are nice, that is).

I'm not making much money, but the immense free time I have is devoted toward various artistic pursuits. Currently I'm working on a feature length non-commercial film. When I finish that I plan on working on a novel, then a demo rock album. I've had various talents for some time but I didn't get motivated to start producing things until I turned 30. I have high hopes.

Intellectual conversation. And sex. :-)

Some comment that I'm a bit intimidating but I think it's a demeanor thing. I don't smile much, but it's just because I'm always deep in thought and pay little attention to people around me. Plus I have asperger's syndrome which affects my personality. I can be rather charming, but I get exhausted if I have to keep it up for a long time. So I come off really rash to people, but when you get to know me you'll find out that I'm extremely laid back and rarely get bothered by anything. I think the last time I was angry about anything was 2002.

For movies I like dramas and documentaries but enjoy most anything with a good story. My favorite movie is American Beauty.

I like a lot of the music I hear on the radio but I haven't bought into a new band for quite awhile. I still listen to my old Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Ozzy, Marilyn Manson stuff when I feel like listening to something. This shouldn't come up much when you hang out with me because I don't listen to music often. I get a bit annoyed with country or rap music but I am fine with them in small doses.

I read a lot of classics and stephen King books. I usually read on a schedule of a stephen king book, then a non-fiction book, then a classic(like john steinbeck), then a contemporary book from an author I've never heard of. I read often but I don't read any faster to myself than I can read aloud (which is rather fast, but not quite as fast as most folks read to themselves). It normally takes me a month to read a book.

I'm not a picky eater. I don't like chuck-wagon beans or licorice, that's about it.

Um, I sit at home.

I don't have a lot of things I consider private. I'm certainly not embarrassed about anything.

#1: You like me. I am attracted to attraction. The more you like me, the more likely I will like you.

#2: I'm also kind of attracted to girls who are a bit smaller than me (winces). I can't help it, it's the way the Lerd made me. You don't have to be "small" just smaller than me. But I'll be friends with anyone who wants to hang out.

#3: If you feel questionable about a conflict between #2 and #1 trust in #1. I really really like girls who like me. If you're willing to tell me you like me, you're going to get me.
