I have broken up with my girlfriend of 17 months whom I met on OKC. Please do not weep for the death of my relationship. It was not meant to be. You know how us guys don't know what we did but got treated as if we did something wrong?
Well imagine being that guy and not being told what you did wrong yet your partner is angry at you without reason. Acting angry or distant at times yet never complaining. When pressed for an answer never explaining. I am not doing the Dr.Suess thing. Nor am I eating a moose or buffalo chicken wing.... *sorry I love rhymes.*
Just saying this site works and I apologize for not being a success story. I have many women on here. Several, I had relationships with some lasted a few months others lasted a year and a half. Some were good dates some were bad. I only have one date from hell story. And I have had women who wasted my time. But like anything. Your time and your feelings are an investment. Invest wisely and know when to sell your stock. Or stay with the stock if you really love it.

Doing well
Jan 19
I have been with my girlfriend Jeannie who I met on here, OKC on October 28th 2010. So tis been a bit over a year now. She has gotten 2 cats one of which I picked out. I'll post pictures sometime. We have talked about saving up for a bigger apartment and moving in together. She moved out of her parents place. I am still living with my parents. Why? Cause Its tough to find a decent job that would help me pay half the rent. I am working but only part time. I got a job working for a newspaper doing billing.
I wish everyone the best of luck. Don't be too picky about things that don't matter such as wealth, weight, or height. In the end its only love that matters. I'm 5'3" and she's 5'9" I'm a republican and she's a democrat. What matters is we get along and love each other. I bring it up because I was on OKC for 2 years and got rejected for those reasons many times over. I also went on many dates. Some women were crazy, others had impossible standards, others wanted a guy who could support them financially. Some play mind games. Some want a guy to mirror them and be just like them even though opposites attract.
Don't let this turn you off. You got to meet some people and keep going on dates until you meet someone you really love who lives a reasonable commuting distance.
A success story to be concluded!

I have been with my girlfriend Jeannie whom, I met on OKCupid for about a year now. Our 1 year anniversary will be on October 28th. We decided to meet on our first date at a chilli's in the Garden State plaza mall in Paramus, NJ. We hit it off right away. We love each other no matter what and get along very well. We plan on moving in together when I get a decent paying job. . we'll see what happens in the near future. Maybe I'll post a picture of the two of us. Jeannie has deleted her profile months ago. I'm keeping mine up for my blog reasons and at least until we move in together. I am an inspiration to others. But my friends don't have the cojones to make a profile.

Or type in "Alienware Adam" I use that name because I won a computer in 2006. I'm very lucky! both in technology and love!
I will be putting in a good word for OKC and making new videos. Take care everyone and good luck. words of advice: Don't be so quick to turn people down and give others a chance. Prince charming does not exist but not every guy is a jerk. In addition not ever girl is a size zero so give a chubby a chaser and enjoy that whiskey together. check out my videos please!
Met Someone Wonderful on OKC
Dec 7, 2010
I have been dating a wonderful woman I met on OKC for a month now. I felt very attracted to her physically and her hatred of the series twilight turned me on even more. We dislike many of the same things. In addition we love a lot of the same music and both love house MD. We like many of the same things. Things are going swimmingly. I took myself off the market and may become a success story.
I have been on OKcupid for 3 years now. I have answered over 4000 questions and have had dozens of dates/girlfriend off this site. I rarely feel this strongly about anyone or act on such feelings to declare things to the world. But Jeannie is the best! So I'll either end up a success story in the future or there will be egg on my face.
I don't care as I have never been afraid to be a fool. And that's what it take to be a success at online dating. To have confidence in oneself and not afraid of making mistakes. Something we learn from. I'll probably stay on the site a bit since I love my Journal.
My Wonderful Girlfriend got me a lovely Sweater for Hanukkah and I cannot wait to get her, her gift on xmas. I get mine Early becuase Hanukkah came first
Anyway, My lover wants to keep me warm with a sweater so I will give her a warm heartfelt gift. Maybe I'll post a picture of us together in my next Journal. Its been a while since I have been so happy. I am working, got an awesome girlfriend, Everything is good.
We will see what the future holds. Happy Holidays to everyone and good luck. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there and respond to every message as I did.
Profile remaking

What is up with people closing their account only to open a new one a few days to weeks later? You cannot close an account just because you are not getting messages. Ypu have to hang in there even when its slow. Someone will like you if you keep it positive
Things are good
Oct 15, 2010
Things are good with me. I have had some success on OKC in the past. UI have had relationships that have lasted over 6 months. Others not so long. The most difficult part is getting the object of my desire out of the house and to meet with me. don;t get me wrong even though I have a lot of success I have many failures as well but never let it get me down.
I have had many women not message me back. I think only about 20% have the decency to write me back. Some who would message me one of more times or even a lot over a lengthy period of time only to stop suddenly messaging me back for no reason whatsoever. I have had women kiss me then never call me again on a first date. I have had women who admitted that they were not ready to date or were still into their ex's.
I read the Journals and I know many men send stupid messages or are insanely rude. I think I am way too hard on women for their short comings. And I understand that many men are jerks and I hope that I am not considered one of them.
Sometimes OKC can be a bit frustrating and only ask for the common courtesy and decency I think should be expected of myself. My Standards are pretty low as are my expectations. That is in comparison to other people who have insanely high height, weight, and age requirements. I am pretty down to earth and really just want someone who is attractive to me and does not care how much money I earn or any other stuff that really does not matter. I am not supporting anyone financially until I get married.
I guess this is really an apology for being too hard on some people. And a big Fuck you to those who are being jerks. In closing I would like to say to everyone. Don't give up because love is out there. And don't expect anything you are not willing to give yourself. Message everyone who messages you as a common courtesy unless their message is rude. And for the love of doggies be nice to each other.
Working again!
Oct 11, 2010
It feels great to be working again! I was out of work for 7 months. I have never had such a difficult time finding a job. This is not the job I went to college for but the pay is decent. The hours are pretty good and are consistent. and I have earning potential. I never have been unwillingly out of work for more than 6 weeks at any given time. just thought I'd share the good news and I hope everyone else who frequents my journal is doing well as well. its a rough job market and economy. It also feels like some matches don't understand this and would reject someone for not having a "Career," A good job, or A job.
Personally the only thing I think a man should pay for is dinner on a date unless the couple are married. On a first date expect a moderately priced meal or coffee and snacks. Dinner and drinks or dinner and a movie are very expensive. Especially considering women usually have several mixed drinks that cost $8 a piece. As much as a gosh darned appetizer. Movies cost $22 for 2 tickets and $18 for 2 sodas and a popcorn. What if things don't work out? Spending $10-$25 is not bad for a first date. But spending $100 is asking for a but much. The Fancy places can come after we date for a while. I'm looking for a date that leads to the possibility of a relationship not a I buy your red lobster in exchange for a Blowjob.
Granted Red Lobster is not that fancy unless you live in the ghetto. How about Chili's and a Blow job? I want my babyback ribs!
Get in my Belly!
Honestly, I don't really expect much on a first date. Just that we like each other and can talk and enjoy each others' company. i also like to mitigate any losses and not spend too much money. I have had too many women flake out on me kissing me at the end of the date then never returning my calls. I think many women expect me to be superman or donald Trump. Being Jewish does not automatically make me rich.
Those are caps not Yarmulkes on Huey, Dooey, and Louie. Uncle Scrooge is a scott.
Say something! Say Anything!
Sep 20, 2010
Say Something, Say Anything jsut say somethoing about yourself that is genuine and not generic.
Everyone likes to have fun and laugh. How about putting what makes you laugh?
Everyone likes music and whatnot.... How about what Genre's or bands do you like?
Many people say nothing about themselves in their profiles and just pt generic nonsense... And these stupid statements irk me.
Likes to have fun. Loves to Laugh.
This is what I hear: Loves to eat sleep, shit, and fuck!
I hope most of yo are far more interesting than this.
Also, never say music is your life unless you are in the music Industry and your wages depends on it.
Doing extreme sports or jumping out of planes don't make you more interesting. It just means you don't value your personal safety and are willing to do stupid things. Getting a bad dye job, piercings, and generic cookie cutter tattoos does not make you interesting. No more tramp stamps. Get original people. Get unique! Be different. And have fun with it.
Ever feel like everyhting is coming together?
Sep 16, 2010
I am feeling wonderful. I just got a job and things are just coming together beautifully. Keeping a positive attitude and being excellent at selling myself has worked out great. I think being my happy self has rubbed off on others as well. I hope others can feel my joy! I feel like I am riding on a cloud right now!
