My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Like to think I'm a pretty decent sort of bloke, been told I'm a good listener, and the sort of guy who will be there for you. I can also be shy, especially around women I like, so if you catch me on your page and I haven't messaged you there's a chance I just didn't have the nerve. If you want to message me instead then go right ahead.

I work in IT so I guess it fits that I'm a little on the geeky side and a little on the shy side, but please don't assume that I'm some sort of maladjusted nerd who stumbles blinking into the daylight and wonders why this real life thing doesn't have a reload option. I have a liking for video games and I'm a bit quiet around new people, but I won't let either come between me and a date with a nice lady.

Still enjoy hitting a club now and then - who says you have to be under 25 to get on the dance floor?! - but quite happy to stay in and curl up on the sofa too. Always up for seeing new places and trying news things. Would love to travel more if only I had some company. Ready to settle down if Ms Right comes along but perfectly happy to go on some dates and enjoy good company until then.

Should probably get it out there that I don't drive, so if you're after a man with a flash motor or you live in the middle of nowhere away from public transport then we might have problems.

Otherwise I'm happy to talk to anyone and everyone. You never know what's around the corner and can never have too many friends. Please, no polite or sympathy replies though. Seriously, if I message you and you're just planning on saying "thanks" and then never replying again then let's both save ourselves the trouble. If you can't imagine even the possibility of us becoming friends, much less going on a date, then we don't need to be talking.

Fixing computer problems... but only in person! Please don't be offended if I can't fix your computer by e-mail. It really works so much better if I can see and touch the thing.

When I've had enough Jack Daniels I also think I'm quite good at dancing, but I think others may disagree. ;)
