I'm an artsy/temporal type, as opposed to a GO-GO-YES-YES-SPORTS!!!! type. I like the Philles well enough, but I'd much rather snuggle up with a movie than go rock climbing, and I'm interested in museums, diners, book stores, movies, malls, and travel, as opposed to wrestling, sports, bars, clubs, and lounges. I'm a Christian girl, and I don't feel drawn to, or comfortable in, the bar scene. My fun is clean fun, and it doesn't involve drunkenness, vulgarity, or tossing around a bunch of foul language. Do I sound like a prude? Oh well, I'm telling it straight upfront about who i am--and who I'm not.
I take my Christian faith very seriously, and Jesus Christ is number one in my life, followed by family, then friends. I enjoy church activities, but I enjoy many different kinds of things beyond church as well. History, both ancient and modern, The Arts, and medical science all fascinate me! You get bonus points if you can explain the Blood-Brain Barrier, lol.
My passions are children and animals, especially cats. I run a cat rescue out of my home, and I have a special heart for the injured, disabled, and cast-off animals, and every one of my pets was a rescue.
I enjoy reading, being silly, being serious, going to the movies, travel, shopping, diners, trying new restaurants, discovering new restaurants, church stuff, RP, artsy stuff, creative writing, volunteer service, girly stuff, people watching, and so much more. I see the absurd side of life. I think that people and situations can be viewed from many different perspectives, and laughter comes easily. I'm extremely *real*. I'm kind, compassionate, humorous, and loyal. I can also be spacey and dorky, and I'm known to be somewhat slow to come alive in the morning, lol. What I lack in athtletic talent and interest, I make up for in sweetness, honesty, and a good nature. I'm NOT the outdoorsy type, so know that. I hate fishing, and my idea of camping is the Motel 6, lol. I make up for in loyalty, devotion, and truthfulness. I'm as honest as the day is long, and I've come to realize that lying is evil. I truly believe that, so if you like to bend the truth, go sell deceit somewhere else, cause I put all my money in the offering plate at church. I'm a really loyal, sweet girl . but I don't tolerate lying. First time it happens, I'm out the door.
One last thing is that parents, grandparents, children and animals love me. :) It's my sister who's not that crazy about me. :P
