I am keenly aware of what I want and do not want in my life. I choose to fill my life with amazing, creative, happy, Loving, brilliant (sparkling) friends. One day I will find my Love the best amongst them, the rest is gravy (sweet, sweet gravy, mmmmmm).

I'm working on what comes next, forging the future of our civilization & how to get there from here. I'm interested in systems based thinking, biomimicry, true sustainability, activism to restore sanity, humanity to Anthropogenic (human) systems. Working on designing the homes/communities/systems/technology of the future, that empower people towards self sufficiency & finding a better way. Trying to help, teach & learn wherever I see an opportunity.

I have lived and traveled all over. I am a lifelong autodidact (self directed student; natural born scientist), artist, writer, photographer, and automotive vocalist, I have a design degree and am an award winning video producer/director, was working on a book/documentary on years of Anthropological/paleoclimatalogical research, that I gave up for my ex. More recently I took a chance to possibly revive my old work in the form of a script for a TV show, with me as host. I may be traveling to Egypt & back to the jungle (as well as many other places), later this year . My 2nd (newer) career is in Sustainability/Sustainable Development. I recently completed real estate school & Permaculture design certification, am looking to complete biomimicry/ biophillic design certification, my Sustainable development degree, possibly BLA/MLA.
I've studied art, science, the nature of humanity/the universe, my whole life.

I am working on a small business & designing my own post & beam, passive solar home/permaculture homestead on the 5.5 acres I'm about to put under contract.

Noticing what usually goes unseen (Loving the little things), predicting what comes next (5 minutes ahead of my time), an almost encyclopedic retention of pockets of knowledge of questionable triviality (swiss cheese memory - hey, have you seen my keys?), making people laugh/feel at ease. Cooking; making home made brick oven pizza/garlic rolls and desserts. I achieved perfect scores on both English sections of my college entrance exam (Don't ask about the math).
photography, video, researching/deciphering complex subjects, Analysis & pattern recognition, creative problem solving, innovating, efficiency, understanding/communicating with, Loving people, gardening, writing, drawing, anything creative I'm sufficiently inspired to try, Loving.

I live by my own rules so:
The Love I share with my children, creating, nature, moving water, people/solitude, exploring, dreams, imagination, music, laughter, researching/exploring, witnessing kindness, freedom (No, i do not mean this as excluding a committed, monogamous relationship, rather a mutual, supportive (non-limiting/controlling) foundation for the happiest kind)... OK, I'll tell you the rest later.

I have a hyperactive mind, so I'll leave this one for conversation. I think about a LOT of things. For now I'll say that I spend a lot of time thinking about how to learn from the past/forge a new sustainable civilization; systems, homes, communities, way of life, for the sake of humans more than the planet (ultimately reciprocal concerns). I believe we are the ones in ultimate danger, not the planet. She will & is in the process of righting herself(as in the past), which does not bode well for us, as a species.

At home, having a great time laughing with my children/family/friends, or freely exploring Aville; laughing, pointing & muttering to myself.

C'mon, I think I spilled enough in my profile for now.
How about this;
a) I believe in reincarnation (energy cannot be destroyed, only transformed & according to particle/quantum physics, everything is energy). Nature has a recycling bin. The nature of mind/consciousness, The nature of what we experience as "reality"/ the universe, is perhaps the greatest area of scientific discovery remaining. Please, let's not leave this to primitivism, or dogma, of any predisposition...
b) I have Da Vinci syndrome (ADD).
c) I don't actually speak Swahili ;)

UPDATE: I completed real estate pre-licensing school before Christmas & will be done with my permaculture design Certification at the end of March, will seek Biomimicry/biophillic design certification at some point thereafter as well as completing my degree in Sustainable Development. I've been in green building/Sustainable development for about 7 years & still have artistic, scientific, entrepreneurial & social architectural tendencies/projects/endeavors. So... yeah.

Oh, yes, by the way: iAM also working again on a special documentary type (film) project (a series, possibly: my old research & my 1st career, revisited, post divorce).

Last year, my divorce was finally finalized, after a long, totally separate separation. I didn't date for the first year & when I set out to date again, I realized what I did & didn't want in my next (last) partner, my Beloved. I also realized how much being married with children had been isolating, leaving one bereft of the richness of amazing friendship(s). So I view this as a possible way to make wonderful new friends (I have). Here's my main criteria for either friendship/dating/partnership; Be kind, considerate (gracious & giving) & generally happy. If you desire the prospect of possibly being my mate (my equal & Beloved, best friend and companion/co-adventurer): It helps if you meet me in any, much less, all the ways in which I need to be met; creative, intellectually, radiant (Loving=giving) heart, playful/mischievous in the nicest possible way, witty/funny/fun, refined but not stuffy, insatiably curious about life, but not at all dogmatic/religious, except for a possible zeal for Love/Justice/Beauty/Truth - both elegant & ready to get dirty (in the wild... uh, nature... exploring & building our home/life together, after an independent artists/adventurer/entrepreneurial/scientific/permaculturalists fashion ;).

While I may take some heat here for this, it's important to note: These days, I tend to most often be attracted to petite women (though my ex was not), who are big on the inside, kind, adore-worthy, soft, Patient, gentle, Loving=giving, happy, bright, brilliant, creative & strong... in constancy of heart/spirit.

Ladies, I think most of you prefer that your man be bigger than you, the inverse is true here. Nothing personal, it doesn't make me a schmuck. Also, I've lived with unhealthy, it's not attractive. I'm not looking to date a walking skeleton, but healthy/toned/active would be nice. Also, my last partner was ten years younger than me, I tend to be attracted to, (fit with) desire a partner younger than myself, reasonably so (both in mind & in body). While I will probably take a lot of shit for this, perhaps this will help to clarify; When I first became single again, about six years ago, I still had the desire to have, at least, the POSSIBILITY of starting a new family, having another child, It is still is a sweet dream, although I've been learning I may have to let go of that notion, so, this is not necessarily a deal breaker, for the right Woman/relationship, let me restate; I would be overjoyed, for life, to find my Beloved, whether we might make a new family together, or not: Again, sorry. If I don't respond, it is probably for one of these reasons, or I assume we're not compatible, at least as friends... or maybe I'm just REALLY busy (iAM).

Again: iAM kind/strong(her Rock) & unique (Loving), if you are not strong(soft)/kind & unique (Loving), please... Let's not waste each other's time...
