i lived outside for a few years, now i've been in brooklyn for a few years. i love and miss them both. i have worked with kids for the last 10 years or so, in some capacity. um, what else, i love juice. whatever, i don't know what to say. I'm a burly type fella with lots of tattoos. I like to read books and write stories and poems. I've been on this site for maybe too long. on the up side, i have met some of my best friends on here though.

eyes, silly facial hair, tattoos?

sometimes people think i look intimidating, but then prove to be a teddy bear, and sometimes it seems that it is the other way around.

books: Great Gatsby, Messy Spirituality, On the Road, Visions of Cody, One Flew over the cuckoos nest, (most things BEAT), Get in the Van, Howl. I really like the Beat Authors and it seems that i am into Bukowski.

movies: The Godfather, Helima, Escape form New York, Science of Sleep, Dream Life of Angels, Life is Beautiful, You, me and everyone we know, mostly quirky slice of life sorta stuff.

Music: beirut, humm, lots of gypsy folk music lately. i like the way it makes me feel. Sigur Ros, Hem, Beirut, hawk and a hacksaw, leadbelly, Black Flag, Godspeed you Black Emperior, Mountain goats, iron and wine, what cheer? brigade

( i grew up on a heavy diet of punk rock, Youth Crew and tough guy Hardcore and Queen. these days i am really into folk music and instrumental stuff.)

food: i love Currys. Indian, Thai, and the like. i can count the times i have eaten Pasta on one hard since college. I love veggies. and i do a lot of cooking.

TV: Penn & Teller's BULLSHIT!, HEROS, 30 Rock, scrubs, Stand up, Upright Citizens Birgade.
