I absolutely suck at writing self summaries or even summaries in general. Everyone wants to come across as original, clever and witty, this includes myself but alas I haven't quite mastered the art of this. Take pity on this old girl and share any tips on how to improve this silly attempt of trying to write a decent self-summary.

Of course, I'm a good sport so here are a few tidbits to satisfy the curious.

- My name is Angela but I usually go by Angie. I'm not really all that picky about what I'm called, just make it nice k?

- I'm foreign born, I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I came to the US when I was a month old, my parents were already here. My mother had been here (US) since '69 and my father was a citizen having been born in Baltimore City, Maryland.

- My ethnic background is Italian and Spanish (Argentine & Spain - Spaniard). My Paternal Grandmother was 16 when she came from Spain and my Paternal Grandfather was 18 when he came from Italy (Interesting fact, Ernest Hemingway helped my Grandfather & his family immigrate to America under one condition and that was my Grandfather had to join the Free Masons). My Maternal Grandmother and Maternal Grandfather were both born in the ARG (Argentina).

- You probably noticed I don't have a ton of pictures. It's simply really, I hate the camera and will very rarely pose for a picture. Also, before you think Oh Geez! She's probably a troll face, I'm not. I just don't like taking pictures :shrug: Take it or leave it.

TLDR; I'm 25, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I'm Spanish & Italian. Plus it's pretty evident I "talk" a lot :)

School is cool (maybe). Work (is not) cool but money makes the world go round. I'm a desk slave (receptionist) for now but can't wait until I can start working in my chosen profession of Social Work.

Books: The ones that have pretty pictures :) Okay, in all seriousness, I absolutely love reading anything and everything. I have way too many favorite books to list. Since I read so much, a lot of my favorites tend to change. There is this free bookstore in Baltimore City and I visit there every Sunday. It's an absolute book nerd's heaven..mine to be specific.

Tidbit: I use to skip school just to spend the whole day at either the library or B&N. Twice, I got dragged out of there by my parents when the school called. My counter argument was at least I was still learning something even if I wasn't in school, of course my parents didn't agree with me :(

Movies: I could go the classic chick route and say Dirty Dancing or Grease but those are pretty much staples in every girls list of favorite movies. I don't have a favorite movie at the moment, ask me later?

I would have to say my favorite genre would be Horror and this includes the really cheesy ones as well. Of course, I enjoy the genuinely scary ones much more, I mean who doesn't like jumping out of their seats and when going home, making sure to look in the closets and under the bed in case Freddy K is hiding there.

Other types of genres I like are the usual Comedy, Drama, Documentaries and the OCCASIONAL (had to capitalize that) Chick flick.

Shows: Chopped, World's Dumbest, Californication, Pawn Stars, 24 Hour Restaurant Battle, Lockup, Dr. G Medical Examiner, Ugly Americans, Shameless, and two randoms...my daily guilty indulgence Maury (Trash TV at its finest) and Golden Girls.

Music: I go through phases and right now Rock music is dominating large parts of my play-lists. However, in general I like a broad range of genres such as Latin music, R&B, Pop, 50's,60's,70's,80's, 90's etc.

Food: My background is Italian & Spanish (Argentine & Spain) so I really love Spanish food such as paella, empanadas, asado, milanesas etc.. and Italian food such as gnocchi, cannelloni's, raviolis etc. I also really really love Sushi, I had my first taste at 6 and I've been loving it since :)

Family, Friends and Pets are mandatory.
However, I do love me some books, music, and my techs (phone & laptop)
