I am vegan, happy, and puppy-obsessed.
My Self-Summary
I loooove my dog. I love all dogs, in fact. I am that girl who says
"awww" to just about anything four legged, furry, and larger than a
rat (yes chihuahua puppies count, even though nyc rats are
technically bigger). I like being outside, swimming (preferably at
the beach), spending time with my pup and laughing. I do not spend
enough time climbing rocks, but i do spend a lot of time climbing
other things (fabrics in particular, think cirque du soleil but
clumsier and without the effortlessness). I am very fit and I care
a lot about what I eat and where my food comes from.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in the finance industry. I'm a night owl, and I lucked out
and work the night shift trading Asian securities. I train in
aerial arts (
trapeze and
aerial fabrics) 4-5 times per
week. i go through months where i cook a TON (baking bread from
scratch, etc) and then months where i live on nuts, granola,
soymilk, and fruit. i was a lapsed vegetarian during college and a
couple of years after; returned to the fold about 3-4yrs ago, went
vegan 2 yrs ago and
haven't looked back.
I’m really good at
listening, sewing, making friends with dogs, being there for my
friends & family, being strong, staying in shape, using my
brain, attempting the ny times crossword, cooking without recipes
(drives my mom crazy)
The first things people usually notice about me
my dog- i bring her nearly everywhere
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
trashy mysteries, non-violent films (not too sad), indie rock &
chick rock, vegan food! i like plays as well, just saw Superior
Donuts, it was FANTASTIC.
The six things I could never do without
my dog (but she's not a thing!), the ny times weekend home
delivery, soy milk, maple syrup, my aerial fabrics, sunshine (i'm
from l.a. originally)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my dog and how cute she must have been as a puppy (i got her when
she was three). making up new aerial combinations in my head. how
much i don't want to have kids, and giant internal sighs of relief
whenever i pass misbehaving and/or screaming children. i don't hate
kids...i just don't respect the parents of badly behaved ones.
bitchy? yes. but who doesn't judge those people!? that said, some
of my favorite people on the planet are under age 10 (and very
polite...)
On a typical Friday night I am
out to dinner or drinks with friends, or reading trashy mysteries
in my pj's with my dog.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
i like nice boys with tattoos & piercings...even though i have
no tattoos and no longer have any non-ear piercings.
You should message me if
you are vegan or vegetarian, like heights, and want to meet my dog.
