My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a nerdy queer transboy, rural Ohio born-and-raised, and I've lived in Seattle for 12 years now.

I've been going to the CSPC and I'm keen to explore my kinky side some more at public events. I am poly and I have an anchor partner shinylight. I have room in my life for more folks and I'm open to different configurations, including new friends (platonic or with benefits), dates, play partners, mentors and/or fishing buddies.

I like passion, good communication, hot makeouts, laughter and folks with a good grasp of social justice stuff.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at a nonprofit that serves women's reproductive health care access, I teach English composition as an adjunct and I work in a fancy pet food store that sells fancy-schmancy organic locally-sourced products.

I'm an introvert and I have a small group of friends who I love dearly. I am about being a loyal friend and showing up for those I love through thick and thin. I'm also about manners and I'm generally not an uncouth barbarian, even when tipsy.

also: gardening projects, caring for animals, writing and editing, adventures whenever possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Accepting people for what they are in the moment is a skill I have developed. I value authenticity.

I am also really good at being weird and somehow getting validated for it! Once, I made up a song about God on the #48 bus to the tune of the Beach Boys "Barbara Ann." I sang it for the bus driver and they liked it so much they told me I didn't have to pay. (This was several years ago, when one paid while exiting the bus). Also, I have an ORCA card now. And I have a car...

Oh! I am really good at going off on tangents. But I'm also really good at knowing when to shut up (see above, manners).

I am really good at fishing, and I am always up for making new friends who are interested in outdoor adventures. I am equally adept at roughing-it short-and-steep self-torture backpacking trips and glorious decadent foofoo glamping. I love the woods!

Finally, I am great at taking direction well and following orders. I'm very playful, but I'm not a brat. I can provide excellent service for those who are into that sort of thing. (You don't have to be into that sort of thing for me to like you, I'm open).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Twice this has happened: I told someone "enjoy your day!" and they responded "enjoy your hair!" I assume they meant my Edward Furlong undercut.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, awful reality TV such as Bridezilla, the few good feminist-angled horror movies out there, sci-fi such as Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Star Trek, etc. I love b-movies, low budget flicks and cult classics, and Mystery Science Theater.

I do have a thing for old-timey movies starring Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Peter O'Toole and Richard Burton. I also really, really like cheesy 80s movies, the cheesier the better.

I have strong opinions about music and I am unapologetically passionate about heavy metal. This is a passion I am willing to keep to myself if you're not about it. I like most pop music, rap and hip hop, r&b, rock, blues, jazz, and the more vintage country music.

Favorite foods include pizza, sushi, pho, teriyaki, cheeseburgers, pie and greens. I appreciate locally-grown, organic produce but I don't consider myself above hohos and Mickey D's. Eating dishes prepared by friends, dates and lovers and cooking delicious meals for those folks is a way I share intimacy, connection and love.

As for books, I read a lot of queer theory, horror fiction, science fiction, fantasy and young adult fiction dystopian novels. Gloria Andaluza, Jeanette Winterson, Jonathan Franzen, Tom Robbins, Ursula LeGuin, Octavia Butler and Lovecraft-mythos inspired crap. Oh and i read a lot of BDSM erotica, but mostly that's written by friends and not published authors.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
being in nature
doing my best
giving more that's asked of me when appropriate or necessary ;)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I like to daydream about grandiose situations in which I am showered with prezzies. More seriously, I spend a lot of time thinking about social justice regarding people of color, trans* folks, queer folks and disabled folks.

Sometimes I have dreams about zombies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no "typical" Friday for me, ha. I work until 7:45 pm on Friday nights, but I tend to plan my evenings so I can jump right into fun (or trouble) as soon as I clock out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
As a school age child, I used to dream that cool whip containers popped out of my armpits when I flew.

I would be happy to hear from poly or poly-friendly queers who like silly, thoughtful, pervy, queer boys who work hard and play hard! If you read this far and I made you smile at least once (and/or cock your head like a confused corgi), please do say hello. :)
