This is always the hardest thing to do...either you sound as dull as a white wall or like an egotistical door knob. Those that know me well would probably describe me as a fairly easy-going person who is a great listener and fun to be around. I can usually make the people around me laugh, but they also know I have a serious side that is sensitive, introspective and self-aware.

People tell me that I make them feel at ease very quickly. I make people comfortable from the start. I'm a great conversationalist as well as an attentive listener.

The first thing people usually notice about is my smile and my glasses? Not sure what they notice. Perhaps you can tell me.

I'm not an avid reader; I have to really be in the right setting. But I do love Patricia Cornwell and the Dr. Kay Scarpetta books. They would make fantastic movies.

I love movies of all kinds, but have a fondness for period or histroical pieces. One of my very favorites is Auntie Mame, staring Rosalind Russell. The movie has a great message of living life to the fullest. If I'm feeling down or just need to see a movie where I feel great after watching it, I put Mame in the DVD player and all is right with the world. Another favorite is Spinal Tap. Hysterical!

My musical tastes are all over the board; from alternative to country to 80s and classic rock. As long as it's not Rap or Heavy Metal, I'm a happy camper. Some perenial favorites are Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt, Bonnie Raitt. I'm getting in to some of the neweer artists like Brandi Carlisle, Dido and Matt Nathanson.

I'm not much a spicy food person; but I love Italian, Asain, Thai and a good old-fashioned steak or burger.

When I'm not involved with someone, you can typically find me at home with maybe a pizza and a movie or out with friends for happy hour.
