My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Curious about most things. I enjoy meeting new people as it's always fun to hear a fresh story.

Am really motivated at the moment with work and travel. It's been a decent year for both. I can usually push humor into anything and am pretty entertaining.

In my 30s but not really ready to grow up yet. Looking to meet someone with a positive outlook on life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Herding cats in my day job - I work in digital media for a TV company.

Like everyone else on here, I love traveling and it's my main motivator in life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh. Finding good deals on flights.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes and smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I read quite a bit. Mostly fiction. Any recommendations?

Music - waaay too much to mention but good stuff sprinkled in with some guilty pleasures. Empires and Drowners were a couple of my favorites from 2014

Movies are tough. My favorite actors are Viggo Mortensen, Daniel Craig, Kate Winslet, Bill Murray, Sean Penn.

Shows - Peepshow: simply amazing. Others include Shameless, Mad Men, Walking Dead (even though I also find it disturbing!), Always Sunny, The Inbetweeners (UK version), Masters of Sex. New fav - Orange is the New Black.

Food - Sushi (esp spicy rolls!), peanut butter, salsa, irish sausages and irish sausage rolls (no seriously, that's not a metaphor for something dirty)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
a good book
a pen and paper
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why is it so hard to meet people organically?

While I'm browsing profiles on OKC: Why so many of the guys in my age range feel the need to stress that they look really young for their age.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at dinner or rejoicing, with several drinks, that I don't have to wake up early on Saturday. Or lazing around my apartment, very happy that I won't be waking up with a hangover on Saturday morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not actually French. It's a silly nickname from years ago and just something I use as it's easy to remember.

So if you write me something in French or ask me about France, I am well clued in that you didn't read my profile.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.'re swell, patient, and passionate.

You hate the messaging part as much as I do and don't judge a person for what they write.

You don't know what you want but your goal is to have a connection with someone that can extend beyond friendship.

Don't message me if
- if you live in two places but that really means you live in one place and visit NY for work frequently
- if you have no pictures. I will assume you are either already in a relationship, way too paranoid about what your coworkers think, or ugly
- you are admittedly flakey
