I'm a former Midwesterner that has lived in the SF area for almost twelve years and in the city for over two. The Bay Area has been an amazing place for enjoying many of the things I love – hanging out with friends, great food/restaurants, wine and music, being active, taking in the beautiful scenery, etc.

Friends have described me as fun, witty (though I can be somewhat reserved at first, so this has been surprising to some people), easy going, caring, introspective and loyal. I also love to laugh (e.g., can’t seem to get enough of Colbert!) and enjoy a wide variety of music (yes, even country!) and movies. As far as books go, I tend to gravitate toward non-fiction (currently reading Agassi’s autobiography and A New Earth) but can get pulled into a good novel from time to time.

Spending time outdoors and activities involving water (e.g., swimming, walks on the beach, white water rafting, want to try scuba, etc.) are other favorite things to do, as are playing and watching tennis. I am also passionate about world travel. I’ve traveled much of Asia and some of Europe and am looking forward to the next opportunity to explore different cultures and cuisines!

I definitely find myself attracted to a guy who has a great sense of humor and maintains a broader perspective on life. I'm also attracted to a man who is confident and has a nice smile.
