My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Mother of all hell, I've got these swank abilities. Between all my jobs, volunteer work, lifting, school, raising cats...I'm doing so damn much I barely have time to consider you. Srsly. I got my shit together, and now you're all excited. I'd hate to dash your excitement so quickly, but I must admit, only some of that shit is true.

You're square, you have everything perfectly aligned in your life. You have no faults, you hike ten miles a day, you shove javelins through zombie hearts, you balk at losers who have less than 33 for their ACT score. Hot damn, it's been so long since I took the ACT anyway. Where did all the time go?

Look, you know you're quite the catch, and you've been looking long and hard for someone to match you. That's me. You're jaded, cynical, sweet, beautiful, hopeful, loving, optimistic, opposite of cynical, you're cynical, hey, it's summertime, let's have a good ol' time.

Oh, about me. No, I'm not going to tell you. Figure it out you beautiful genius.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Being self-actualized. Starting my own company. Being the best cat-dad and coolest uncle I can possibly be.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Computers. Knowledge. Deadpan. Bluntness. Greeting cards. Perversion.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My tight haircut.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Favorite book is still The Catcher in the Rye. Love: Kurt Vonnegut, Flannery O'Conner, Chuck Palaniuk. I'm trying to dig more graphic novels; what should I read?

Movies: Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine, and Donnie Darko are my top three, hands down. Then anything by Charlie Kaufman, then Judd Apatow. I love beautiful, cerebral movies. I love slow, melancholy movies about broken people. I could list a ton of movies here but that takes away from potential conversation, so throw a movie past me and we can talk about how much we loved it or hated it or never saw it. I love movies and it takes a lot for me to really hate one (exceptions: Water World, A.I., and Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland).

Shows: The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Freaks and Geeks, Breaking Bad, Louie, Extras, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Futurama, Simpsons (classics only), Family Guy, South Park, It's Always Sunny

Music: Pet Sounds is my favorite album of all time, and it would be a sad day for me to not love it as much as I do today. SMiLE in close second. I've been obsessed with of Montreal for the past two years. I tend to get locked on a band for years and listen to them non-stop. I mostly love anything from the 60's, especially psychedelic, garage, Motown, and girl groups...Beach Boys (Brian Wilson), Beatles, Hendrix, Love, the Doors, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground, The Stooges, Sex Pistols, Pixies, Nirvana, the Breeders, Radiohead, Sugarman 3, Will Sessions, Grandaddy, Walkmen, Tame Impala, Marshmallow Coast.

Food: There's little I won't eat. I love discovering new foods and introducing others to foods for the first time. Picky eaters annoy the hell out of me.

Drink: I love craft beers and beer culture in general. I love introducing people to their new favorite beer.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Laughter; the drive to better my place in life; good sleep; good sex; inspiration; alone time.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how amazing it is that we've finally reached a point in society where we can outright ignore unattractive people without it being awkward. What kind of utopia is this?

Also, where are all the nerdy gamer girls at? Come on, it's a fine hobby.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
thanking goodness.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a bit of a voyeur. And I'm definitely an ass man. My favorite movie as a kid was "Grease". Aaaand I terribly miss being in love. I'm a romantic, damnit.

You have a tight ass but you're not a tight-ass. You're clever, witty, quirky, dark, bold, sassy, honest, and fully aware of how much shit you're full of. You can make me laugh and make me think. You challenge me. You don't have a degree in women's studies.
