My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live in Chico and have finished my psychological science Master of Arts program. It was a program mostly focused on research in Psychology and teaching. I am hoping to move on to a Phd program or become a lecturer at a community college soon. If you are in an educational career or a Psychology career I would like to meet you. I finished my Master of Arts in August 2012 and now I would like to get out of Chico and get a decent job teaching somewhere.

I lived on the east coast for two and a half years and came back out west and decided to go back to college. I've been playing guitar a lot more lately and writing my own music. I play the open mic nights at Chico occasionally. I like nature, trees, mountains and hiking.

PS: If you cannot live without your iphone or your car, I am not interested in you. ie anyone who is excessively superficial.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from Sacramento State with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I am working on my 2nd year in a Master's program (option in psychological science) at Chico State. I am studying in the area of personality psychology and researching individual differences in falling in love. I work part time during the semester and generally full time in between semesters.

I like to see new places and travel when time permits, sometimes I like to talk to strangers to see what they are like. I like to go to concerts, mostly smaller live venues. I plan on taking a trip to Europe (probably germany) at some point.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing guitar, learning, reading, being on time, writing, typing, personality psychology, reading research articles.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Who cares?
Generally longish hair, or that I smile and laugh a lot.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Water, Sleep, Music, Love, Books, motivation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Classes and people that I know, and why they are the way that they are. What is happening in the world at any given moment. My life. When someone says one of the six things they cannot do without is sex, what does this mean exactly? What happens to you when you can't get any?

Psychology and what led people to develop into the personalities they have.

Possible selves.

I don't consider myself a prude, but I scored as less kinky & less desiring of sex. I'm not sure why. I would like to know how kinky and horny you have to be to get awarded "more." :P
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't have a typical Friday - it varies every week, sometimes I stay in sometimes I don't...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I find grammatical errors such as "no" instead of "know" and "sense" instead of "since" to be a big turn-off. And smart girls are pretty sexy.

I'm interested in a monogamous relationship. Physical intimacy is great but I think its really cool to have someone to laugh with, joke around with and watch movies, talk about life with.

I cannot live without music.

I'm looking to have a good time and have fun meeting new people. I have learned not to expect too much, this way I am not disappointed. So I am interested in just having fun, if that leads to something... great otherwise I am fine with it all the same.

You feel the desire to. You are interested in meeting me. You are artistic, creative and a good writer. You are also interested in psychology, mythology, music and movies. You have good taste in beer! It doesn't matter how far away you live... I like to travel.

I am interested in someone who is adventurous and wants to experience a lot in life. Someone who wants to travel and plans on getting out of the United States at some point. Someone who is literate, intelligent, patient and empathetic. Not so interested in people who take themselves too seriously or have lengthy bullet points of requirements for who they will meet. Be human.
