My self-summary
I'm a professional musician that also works for a tech startup. I've lived in New York for almost four years and moved to Brooklyn a year ago.

I've been called very *~*'dad-like'*~* and I think that's pretty accurate.
What I’m doing with my life
I freelanced as an opera singer and choral singer for a year or so before finding a job with a healthcare startup that I really love. I still get to perform quite a bit, conducting and singing with an amazing chamber group in Brooklyn.

Other than that, I'm usually reading, looking for new coffee shops or beer gardens, or hanging out somewhere in Brooklyn. Or practicing somewhere. I've recently been traveling quite a bit which has been awesome - I hit Ireland, England, Spain, and Switzerland this past summer. Hoping to do much more in 2016.
I’m really good at
Directions. I give some prettay prettay prettay good directions to tourists.

Finding good travel deals.

Terrible, terrible dad puns.

Frank Ocean, Sisyphus, Chromeo, Beck, Monteverdi, Owen Pallett, Sam Smith, Stevie Wonder, Mozart, Schumann, Michael Torke, Nico Muhly, HAIM, CHVRCHES, James Blake, Portugal. The Man, Vulfpeck, Son Lux, Sufjan Stevens, Brahms (sometimes), Gerald Finzi, Mr. Justin Bieber (his newer stuff is actually quite good), Daft Punk, Kendrick Lamar, Steely Dan, Between the Buried and Me, Bach (always always always), Hiatus Kaiyote, Moses Sumney, Mahler, Leo Kottke, Dvorak, Peter Gabriel.

Trying to be more adventurous in my culinary life but it's a work in progress. I can be very easily manipulated if I'm offered cheese quesadillas and coffee.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where my next cup of coffee will come from.

Politics and culture.
On a typical Friday night I am
"Going out with friends or staying in with a glass of wine and watching Netflix."

But yes likely one of the above (replace wine with beer), or traveling, or in rehearsal/in a show/watching a show.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I see a heads-up penny on the street, I have to pick it up. Every time.

I have synesthesia and you should ask me about it!
You should message me if
You think you can beat me in a battle of puns.
