Work Hard to Play Hard is pretty much my motto! But my personality is pretty laid back and easy going. I love adventure - meeting new people, going new places, trying new things! I rarely meet strangers! (I also tend to use exclamation marks, A LOT!) I love my job planning special events and have had some amazing opportunities. But it is a crazy work schedule with long hours - thus my need to meet people outside of the office! : ) Love hanging out with good, solid people who are ambitious and excited about what the future holds. Definitely a glass half-full kind of girl. Love Jesus and my Aggies (despite the last few seasons)! I have a thing for song lyrics and get a kick out of the silly lines some rappers come up with! Seriously you can make a song about anything these days...but I still listen!

I'm enjoying every minute of my life... I am blessed tremendously to be where I am at this stage in the game. I have a wonderful job, a supportive boss, and an excellent team. I landed my dream job straight out of grad school and couldn't imagine doing anything else.

When I have free time, I try to travel both quick weekend trips near by and flights far away. I also love pretending I'm a photographer on these journeys, but I'm not all that great.

planning, obviously I do it for a living. However, I like to let others take the reins when it's my free time. I'm also pretty decent at baking...so if things work out you might expect some cupcakes or cookies!

My taste in music is not at all what they would guess! I always get comments on my song choices.

I'm genuine...I am a horrible liar, so I don't even try. But that doesn't mean that I'm blunt or brash. I still know how to be a lady and know my social filters.

I also get compliments on my smile and my eyes.

Books: Best book as of late, Pillars of the Earth. I also read Time Traveler's Wife in preparation for the movie. Unfortunately, I get really excited about a new book, get half way thru and find another one I want to read. So it's rare that I finish one! Usually get my reading in when I'm traveling.

Movies: I love movies with complexity such as Crash and the Usual Suspects. I also love all the "theif" movies like Oceans, Italian Job, etc. I enjoy a good romantic comedy, but not a requirement to see one every time! I am not a fan of sci-fi! ]

Television: I love coming home and watching and hour or two of mindless tv to let my brain rest! Typically at night you can catch me watching old reruns of Fraiser and Will & Grace. I also love the Food Channel and all the foodie shows like Top Chef, NFS, etc. I'm addicted to the dancing shows - ABDC and So You Think You Can Dance. I am just amazed at people who are so talented! I also am a big fan of Jeremy Piven from back in his Cupid days, but have yet to see Entourage. Although, I've been told a million times, I must!

Music: Want to hear me ramble on and on, ask me about music! I LOVE it! I truly belife music feeds the soul! I always say that all of my paycheck goes to concerts! I've seen quite an array of artists. Plus I'm blessed with a job that allows me to be around National Acts from time to time.
As for my favorites...I'm a huge R&B fan mixed with a bit of hip hop and rap. I'll listen to Country, on very rare occassions, but prefer it only when 2 stepping! :) I absolutely hate hard rock/metal - no screaming into the mic please!
My favorite artists include: Anthony Hamilton, Beyonce, John Legend, Jay Z, Pharrell, Alicia Keys, Jordin Sparks, Jazmin Sullivan, Train, Lifehouse, Switchfoot, Maroon 5, Counting Crows, Matchbox 20.

Food: My last meal will probably be fajita tacos with guacamole and lime! I love eatting at new, local places. I really try to avoid chains at all costs! I'll eat Mexican food just about every day if need be, I also love Italian, American, etc. I have to really be in the mood for Chinese...got burnt out on bad buffets as a kid. But I'm up for trying anything once. I also love spending time in the Kitchen...it's typically my stress relief when I have time off. I love baking and then sharing with friends.

To be quite honest, work. As an event planner, I have a never-ending to-do list. But I also love my job, and wouldn't have it any other way!

If I don't have an event, I'll usually try to slip out of town. It's also a good night to relax, clean up a bit, enjoy dinner and a movie. On occassion we'll make it a night out on the town!

I have to admit, I'm a bit picky when it comes to dating. I am definitely one who tends to think in terms of the future and really don't see the need in prolonging dating if I know that the guy is not right for me in the long term. That's not to say that I don't enjoy short term dates, though.

You are excited about life, ambitious, fun, and willing to try new things. Looking for someone to share life experiences with, whether it be a movie, a trip, a baseball game, or simply a dinner at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant.
