My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello! My name is Tyler and I'm in an open but committed relationship with sarahduckiebean. We've been together since 2004 and are cohabiting, so if you are not comfortable with polyamory then feel free to click away now with no hard feelings. :) Also, because I already have such an amazing woman in my life, I'm just looking to be with a guy. I am not looking for one night stands, but I don't expect a committed relationship right off the bat either, so I guess it's best to start out as friends (with or without benefits) and let it progress naturally if there's potential for more. If you're into both Sarah and me then that's even better but not required; after a few direct attempts at being in a triad we've realized that it's complicated and not something that should be forced, so we'll try to just let it happen if it happens.

Anyway, my major interests and activities are: arts (mostly music and theatre, but pretty much all kinds), languages, natural and social sciences, cooking, gaming (mostly fantasy-action RPGs on XBox 360 and classic Nintendo as well as board games), philosophizing, challenging norms, swimming, hiking/exploring, traveling, and trying new things whenever possible. Oh, and I love any excuse to laugh hysterically or wear a costume; plays, Renaissance fairs, Halloween, you name it.

To clear up some of the "other" and ambiguous selections on here:
Gender & Orientation - I'm genderqueer but biologically male and typically present as such, and I'm an andro-leaning bisexual (about a Kinsey 4) open to trans people. To save time I usually just say "queer."
Body Type - in my case "a little extra" means just under 200 lbs. I've been called stocky and a "cub" on more than one occasion.
Drugs - I'm not really into them, but I have used marijuana few times despite not particularly caring for it, and would at least once like to experience some kind of hallucinatory substance like DMT.
Religion - I don't believe in god(s) and prefer the scientific/logical worldview, but I revere nature and readily engage in spirituality while admitting that I really know nothing for certain; think pantheist, naturalistic pagan, spiritual atheist, etc.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In my dreams I'm going to be a successful and wealthy performer, travel the world, help people, and come home from adventuring to a self-sustaining yurt on a private patch of land (and/or possibly a houseboat), but as far as my current reality goes...

I got a BA in anthropology from UMass Boston and was going for my MS at Boston College to be a nurse-practitioner, but I had to withdraw for financial (and sanity) reasons. I'm currently working full-time as a bank teller (*cries and vomits*), but my current goal is to go back to school for something in healthcare and move back to the Boston area.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
singing, voice and character acting, languages, empathizing and comforting (i.e. being a therapist for the people in my life), and making people laugh.

I feel it's also worth noting that I'm terrible at sports, dancing, and anything else that requires coordination.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In my profile? I guess that would be my personality flaws (might as well get it out of the way now, right?)! I have very low self-esteem and am thus quite self-conscious; I'm also obnoxiously indecisive and practically paralyzed by conflict which has made me somewhat of a pussyfooter and push-over.

As for in private, feel free to ask me anything. I'm an open book.
